This was our "go-to" place for quick, tasty coffee and excellent muffins during our stay in Vernal. They also have a full list of other coffee drinks and make them to order. The have drive-through service as well as a couple of picnic tables for planning your day. The people were extremely friendly and nice too!

This review is not about the food since we did not have any. This rated best of Vernal is a one star for me. We arrived at a restaurant that was nearly empty and was presented with a menu and water.
We waited and waited and waited across from the entry and no one cared to show up and take our order or acknowledge our presence.

Nestled in downtown Vernal, Utah within the heart of Uintah County is a craft beer brewery and gastropub that is an icon of the area. In addition to brewing and canning quality craft beers to be sold in-house and distributed across Uintah County and the Salt Lake Valley, we host a restaurant/gastropub with dining options ranging from comfort food and appetizers to local favorites. Exceptional food, craft beer and a place to enjoy it with friends and family is something that owner, Ginger Bowden, has always gravitated towards. This love fueled Ginger's passion and desire to create a unique experience for the Uintah Basin. Welcome to the Vernal Brewing Company. We're happy to serve you and strive to give you a great dining experience!
It has been a long time since I have been wowed by an establishment. This was it. Atmosphere, music, food, staff, customer service and most importantly beer were above par. Nothing like a day of mountain biking followed by good food and did I mention BEER!? We will be back!

I love coffee huts - those little 200 square foot places, with drive thru on both sides. This one in Vernal (Spoof's) is perfect. Easy in, easy out. Just one window, but they come out the the cars that are in line, when they're busy. So, they get you through fast. The coffee is excellent - my sugar-free vanilla lattes were just the way I like them. I got one every morning I was in Vernal. The staff was exceptionally personable and efficient.

I liked it here very much, especially the Pollo de Molé, which was full of flavor and the perfect consistency. The restaurant is on Main Street, and cozy, with on street parking. We were seated quickly, and enjoyed the colorful hand-carved booths, and painted tables. The service was only average, and there is no wi-fi provided.
The menu is typical Mexican fare, and there were plenty of choices. Again, if you like molé, get it here.

Went for dinner after recommendation from hotel staff for a steak. Server tried to talk us out of the local beer, very odd. Ordered Filet Migon medium rare, arrived well. No apology from server. Waited for over 20 minutes for server to return for payment. Finally paid with cash and counted our losses. It was so bad the table next door commended us on actually paying the bill.

Place was jammed and well worth the wait for food which was fantastic. Fried potatoes were crispy, gorgeous like you never see any more...not frozen hash browns. Fluffy omelettes and delicious raspberry jam with the toast. Fun slogans on the wall. We were told Betty is in her 80s and she bothers to do it up right- a bit of home town Americana. Can't wait to get back.

We decided to eat here based on reviews from Trip Advisor. We were disappointed. We both ordered steaks. The steaks were under cooked and the potatoes were cold. This was surprising seeing we were still eating our salads when the brought out the main course. Our server acted like it was such a pain to have guests and we were cutting into her time. We do not recommend this restaurant

We stopped in to Cafe Rio for a late lunch after seeing all the cars in their parking lot. We didn't know what to expect but found the freshly prepared Tex-Mex style food to be tasty and quickly prepared with friendly service. Lots of families take advantage of their diverse menu selections. We sampled both the chicken and the pork quesadillas which came to the table hot and cheesy. All in all an unexpectedly pleasant experience.
