My buddy and I ate here about 8:00 pm one night after doing the Spartan race. We ordered a large pepperoni hot and ready. The waiter brought it right over to our table and it was hot and fresh. The restaurant was clean and the employees were courteous.

Ordered a large pizza with mushrooms - when it was delivered it was cold and tasted like cardboard. My Mother called and complained and another cold terrible pizza was delivered. We will not be ordering a pizza from here anytime soon.

I can't put my finger on what makes Ted's pizza taste so good. Their pepperoni is certainly different than what other pizza joints use. It's smaller around, cut thicker, but it has a really good flavor. Maybe Ted's makes their own homemade sauce. Not sure. I think the mushrooms are canned. But there's just something with the whole combination of flavors that makes it one of my favorite pizza places around. Just don't go there with the intention of eating in. It's better to take it out.

We have been here several times over the years. Pizza was always consistently good. Our last experience was very disappointing. There was no sauce or toppings on about 1/4 of pizza, all around outer edge. Pie was very dry. On our "do not eat here" list.

Great food and fast service. Super impressed with the value. Ordered Pizza which was fabulous. Then went back and got fried mushrooms, onion rings, Deluxe burger and side salad. Salad had fresh vegetables. Onion rings were great. I can't say enough good things about this place. Very happy I gave them a try.

I live in Yonkers, NY and really good Italian restaurants are a dime a dozen - and that is because their clientele knows and demands the real thing. I try not to eat in Italian restaurants in communities without large and recently landed Italian communities as I've been disappointed too many times. My friends in Rutland took me to this place and I guess to their surprise I ordered the grilled haddock special in white wine sauce. It was excellent though perhaps served with more sauce than I would have preferred. The accompanying rice and veggie and salad were all top-notch. This is a pleasant place to dine and service was friendly and efficient. On my experience alone I'd give this place five stars. My friends ordered Italian cuisine, one spaghetti with sausage, the other a veggie antipasto. Although they were happy, here is where my objections start. The spaghetti was obviously cooked too long and looked a bit too soft. I'm guessing that this is what most of their customers want but most Italians and Italian-Americans want pasta cooked "al dente" or "to the tooth" meaning you should feel a bit of a bite when you bite into it. If you order a pasta dish be sure to specify you want it "al dente," they will take the pasta out of the boiling water one minute sooner and you will probably be delighted with the difference. The veggie antipasto was more like an antipasto salad, with the ingredients mixed. My friend liked it and it was probably very tasty but authentic antipasto (before the pasta) is a plate with a selection of individual appetizers. Portions were generous and prices reasonable. I'd definitely go back.

We stopped and had some pizza which was great and a couple of flights of beer. The bartenders are great and we met some awesome locals.

during our long weekend in Vermont one of my high school classmates contacted me on Facebook and wanted to get together for a meal while we were traveling up North. As he was in Bennington and we were staying in Burlington, we opted for a location somewhere in the middle. That location turned out to be Rutland. In looking through Trip Advisor it turned out that the Hopân Moose was recommended, so we decided to go there. It is a standard craft beer location with the pub-style food that goes along with that. We ordered a couple of craft beers, and white wine for my wife, then shared a pizza and some wings. One highlight on the menu was poutine, which is French fries with gravy and cheese curds . It may not sound delicious but it is quite good and a Canadian staple. The meal was fine, the beer was good, and the staff was quite friendly. Recommended.
