We stopped in Putney at 8 pm on a Monday. Every place was closed except for the pizza place, so we resigned ourselves to what we expected would be not-so-great pizza. When we entered, a little sign said "Try our Turkish Menu." It turns out the owner is Turkish and has recently added a menu of authentic Turkish food. Since I've never been to Turkey, the way I know it's authentic is that I've eaten in a number of Turkish restaurants in Frankfurt Germany, where Turks are a major immigrant group. Our dinners were top notch. Delicious, well spiced and cooked perfectly. The yogurt mint sauce was best we've had. The decor is less than inviting, but the owner, likely pleased to serve his native food at a very slow time of day, was very friendly. What a lovely surprise!

Ate here often when skiing with my family. Havenât been in the area for quite a few years, has the opportunity while driving to NH to visit friends. Eggplant grinder, eggplants perfect served on toasted grinder roll great value

Several locals had shared the name of this place with us so my husband and I decided to take the 25 minute ride to check it out. Weâre both so glad we did. We loved everything we ate (foccacia and jalapeño popper appetizers, scallops and pork tenderloin entrees) and also loved the local brews available. The charm of the space is evident from the moment you walk inside. We were greeted by owner Laurie who also waited on us. Sheâs lovely and so easy to talk with. She easily shared history of the building and decor with us, making us fall in love with the uniqueness even more. Several members of the staff stopped by our table to both deliver and help clear dishes out of our way. Everyone was quite attentive and friendly. I could continue on about the place but I honestly donât want to sell everyone too hard on it. Itâs like a best kept secret! Weâll be going back for sure.

We were so excited to find another Ramunto's location near our hotel this weekend after a visit to one in other Vermont town last year. We we're.so excited to have their authentic Sicilian pizza! Sadly it wasn't the same . It didn't seem like they had done the extra.rusing and baking step necessary...it turned out to be essentially any old square pizza. Staff were.very good,.friendly and efficient. We were just disappointed in the pizza after.our incredibly.delicious first experience.
