A magnificent 1900 train station that welcomed the likes of President Roosevelt, Maxfield Parish, JD Salinger, Maxwell Perkins and many more prominent historical figures. Now it's the place to be in the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire. The menu
It was busy on a Saturday evening, when they squeezed me in. Interesting menu, large portions or you can order a half-portion, reasonable prices. The tortellini with shrimp dish was delicious. Location is an old railroad station (still functioning?) and is suitably decorated. I wish this restaurant was near me, so I could go back often.

Spent 2 days here on our trip it was that good. The food was amazing and filling. The beer was delicious. Tried them all, none disappointed. The atmosphere and staff were amazing such a friendly place. Cancelled our day 2 reservations just to go back was that much fun.
We came to the Crow because there weren't any other options and we had limited time for dinner. We had the place to ourselves (for most of our dinner), and had fairly low expectations based on the overall appearance of the place. We were pleasantly surprised, though, several times. The service was great (now, this isn't hard when you're the only customers, but still) -- the bartender quickly figured out how often we wanted attention and what sort of mood we were in and adapted his approach accordingly. It's a small thing, but it makes a big difference. The menu was fairly limited, but the food was well-executed in general. The deviled eggs wouldn't be out of place at a more upscale pub, with great flavor and thoughtful presentation. The wings were good too (fairly small, but what do you expect at that price), and the cook actually came out with two more than we ordered because he felt some of them were too small. The fried clams, on the other hand, were very ordinary. I may be spoiled, with a couple awesome seafood shacks near home, but these tasted as generic as possible. Still, they weren't bad in any way, so I wouldn't count it against them.We had a very fun night here, with just the right level of attention and food that was better than we expected. I wouldn't say everyone should try and plan a romantic dinner here, but we certainly had one, and I thank the staff here for making it happen.

We loved it. Had the chicken czarina and the fish-and-chips and both were done perfectly, piping hot and good-sized portions. The service was impeccable: friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. The upstairs dining room (candlelight, white table linens) was calm and pleasant. The downstairs pub area was way too loud, we would avoid that, but we will happily return to the upstairs part.
