Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Burlington. Vermont's largest and perhaps most cosmopolitan city, Burlington beckons with the perfect blend of old New England charm, arts, culture and nature. Located on the shores of Lake Champlain, between the Adirondack and Green Mountains, Burlington is one of those places you can't help but fall in love with. During the spring and summer, the streets come alive with festivals and outdoor concerts. The picnic benches, playground and bike paths of Leddy Park are filled with warm weather revelers, and opportunities to swim, fish or just kick back on the beach abound. In the fall, the Burlington Bike Path is bustling with leaf peepers who come to view the vibrant autumn colors. In winter, lace up your ice skates and head to the Paquette Arena or grab your skis and head to any of the nearby resorts. Church Street Marketplace, with its early 1900s architecture, great restaurants, live entertainment, one-of-a-kind shops and well-known stores, is the focal point of the downtown area. Anytime of the year is a good time for chocolate. Be sure to stop by Lake Champlain Chocolates for a tour and taste.

Excited to have pupusa again, we went to Esperanza for restaurant week and had their preset menu. Even though they were "everything" pupusa, however, they weren't particularly flavorful, or ingredient-full either. Solidly mediocre, which was disappointing. Moving on to the main course, we had decidedly mixed opinions. The mole was...okay. Again, not very flavorful, which is not how a mole should taste--it should be bold, and memorable. This was a a small drizzle of thin sauce over the top of decent chicken. The carne a la milanesa, however, was absolutely delicious. Very flavorful and savory marinade, the steak really popped. None of the sides stood out enough to mention specifically, which left us with one good main dish. Finally, they were out of their flan, leaving us with "fried" ice cream for desert. As others have noted, it really is just ice cream rolled in corn flakes. I'm pretty sure they don't even fry it--it doesn't come out hot and melting. Overall, a rather disappointing experience, especially for restaurant week.

We have had takeout a couple of times during the past 2 months. The menu includes some Asian, Nepali and Indian selections. Everything we have had from Curry chicken to the momos to chicken Jalfrezi has been excellent. Not sure if they have sit-down dining tables. There is a lounge and Karaoke set up in the place.
Pokeworks is a wonderful addition to the restaurants near Church St. It's fast food in a good way. There are dozens of ingredients that you can choose from as the staff puts together your bowl or wrap. We highly recommend the kale noodles as a base ingredient. Some ingredients are spicy and others are not--the staff is good at pointing out which. The flavors are wonderful and the food is filling. There is a small seating area and we had no problems finding a table for a late lunch.

Went to meet friends for lunch and it took almost 1/2 hour to get our food and we had the prepared Bento Boxes. That being said I really like the interior décor and the food was excellent. I had the shrimp shumai and with rice and miso. I really enjoyed everything but felt stressed for time.

Relaxed atmosphere, tasty food and friendly, efficient service. We loved the dishes we ordered: a curry, broccoli with oyster sauce and pad thai. And, though they donât serve alcohol, you can bring your own. (The liquor store is only a short block away.) Definitely a place we will return to.

This was the second time I have eaten here, and I was glad I came back. I had their Chirashi which was absolutely delicious with generous servings of sashimi in a bowl of perfectly prepared sushi rice. Great variety of rolls and drinks, including local beers. Nice wood-themed interior décor and friendly, efficient service. I will definitely return on my next trip to Burlington!

Mostly authentic Asian noodles amongst the hippies of Burlington. Downstairs off of Church Street. Noodles, sushi, Asian fare. Good spicy Korean beef. Interesting drinks.

Had dinner here on our vacation to Burlington. The ramen was very tasty especially when washed down with a Sapporo beer. I was hoping for my ways to customize my ramen with the addition of vegetables but the choices were pretty minimal. However, it was very tasty and I would certainly go there again to try something different.

Been wanting to go for some time and finally made it. Lunch stop on a Saturday. Totally enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Service was sweet but they needed another server as she was taking care of the whole place by herself. I would return.
