Things to do in Santa Catalina
This is our new favorite place in Santa Catalina. Jose is not only a great chef making delicious dishes of fresh fish, he is a genuine panamenian guy concerned about sustainability and community. I recommend the tuna steak from this magic kitchen in the main village street!! Best quality price by far in this reataurant where one feels at home. Blessings
We've been there for dinner and we can totally recommend this place. We had Tuna and Mahi Mahi, both very tasty dishes. The lady was really nice and the whole place looks so nice, especially when it's dark. Unfortunately we didn't make any photos. But we totally recommend going there.
Nice and comfortable atmosphere. Typical and International meals. Natural juices, cocktails, beers and wines. Select music.
This little road side place has great pizza, the service is fast and friendly and the prices are decent. We ate there three times during our visit- we really enjoyed it!

We went 2 nights in a row and they were closed. Its very hard to figure out schedules around Santa Catalina, but we got used it. Once we arrived, we were kindly treated, and very much enjoyed a fish and chicken taco, and really yummy fish ceviche! It's one the main road, so I feel like this restaurant is a must try!

I enjoyed the most delicious fried corvina last Saturday night at this delightful restaurant. The staff is friendly, the food delicious, tartar sauce amazing and everything is home made. The fish is fresh daily and never frozen. And the "chicha" (fruit drink) was incredible. What a wonderful gem this place is!

Really nice food, even though the waiting was pretty long and the food was cold I'd say it was the best I had during my 10 days in Santa Catalina. There maybe could be some more octopus in the octopus dish but the mixed seafood is really good and the chicken is a lot of food for the money.

Delicious Panamanian and Caribbean dishes with a variety of fresh seafood, soup part of our identity....BANNABA....
We went there for a dinner and to be honest, we didnât expect much, since food scene in Santa Catalina still waits to happen. However we were super surprised! There was Italian waitress working there and she did a fantastic job: multitasking, taking orders, preparing drinks and woking on up sale, all that with a smile and friendly attitude. We ordered steak plate and I ordered tuna tris, which was great. When I say great, it means perfectly done, soft in the middle and three different pieces. This is definitely something that I would really recommend.

Outdoor local place that you wouldnât think has the wonderful food it does. We had grouper with fruit (âHawaiian style). OMG. It was sooo good. The fish was in a coconut sauce of some type. The fruits and veggies with it were all great. Funky setting. Great food.

If you're looking for ceviche, this is the place. Served on a bed of fried shoestring potatoes and covered in a delicious sauce, the type of fish you have doesn't matter - it's all delicious. My partner and I shared one plate, and it was enough for us. Friendly service and laid-back atmosphere; highly recommended!

It was off-season but the welcome was exceptionally friendly with the manager coming to greet us as we walked down the driveway of the hotel (The restaurant is part of the Hotel Santa Catalina but feels like a separate entity). We ordered food and watched the surfers on the Punta break, directly in front of the hotel. The Mahi Mahi was really good, we had it with rice and rosemary potatoes. The Chocolate Brownie with ice cream afterwards was amazing too.One of the best when we catch! And I'm thinking to both: Mahi Mahi and Brownie !thanks for share your experience and more for visiting us!Looking forward to meet you again,Pietro and all the staff
