This is a usual 4* seaside resort located in Venus, RO, nice experience for families, especially with children. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, the food is great, with various choices for everyone: meat lovers, vegans, kids. The usual free local drinks. 3 pools, for every ages. Privat sun beds on the beach for the hotel guest. Overall it was a nice visit. Negative points: slow/bad wi-fi signal, they should improve this, and some of the tourists(6 out of 10),who think they can do everything they want just because they payed for the vacation. Too bad for them not to be able to choose their guests.

Located just at the border between Venus resort and Cap Aurora resort, Melodia Resort is the newest 4 star location from the Romanian Black Sea seaside, with first year of service starting in 2012. The tourist resort covers 13 000 square meters, with a rich and very varied vegetation, being located at about 150 meters away from a wide sandy beach, with a smooth water entrance. Our accommodation spaces have both modern and functional design, that creates by symbiosis a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. All the 109 accommodations, are modernly designed and have their own balconies, with standard features like air-climatisation systems, LCD TV and cable television. Our guests will also take advantage of the Wi-Fi system (free of charge in the resort’s public areas), the facilities for conferences, meetings and other private events, in the same elegant note. Relaxation area (fitness, sauna, relaxation room and massage room) is at your daily disposal. On sunny days we will be waiting you in the pools area, (2 swimming pools for adults and one for children) equipped with beds, lounge chairs and umbrellas. Especially for your children, on the ground floor, inside the resort, operates The "Little Mermaid" Club and in the outdoor they can relax at the swimming pool, in "Nelson Park" and at the "Prichindel Land". The hotel provides to its guests a restaurant with terrace and a pool bar to relax both during the day and evening. The Resort has private parking with security and video surveillance, 109 parking spaces and free access.
The rooms are nice but the basic ones at least can be a bit small if a baby cot is added or if your’re more robust. The air conditioning smelled bad, thank God we anly stayed 2 nights there. The staff was friendly, no bad interactions there. Room was clean, food was average. No beach towels, robe or slipers were provided. I would say it’s more like an upper 3 stars than a 4 stars hotel but that’s just me. If you really want a good all inclusive experience skip this one and go to Bulgaria. Same prices if not lower and better quality. The outckirts of the hotel were not what you want to see in your vacantion and that’s not the hotel fault but a thing that matters in the end

This is my 7th year at Safir Hotel, and I cannot get enough of this place: private beach, apartment with all utilities needed, amazing people, great sea view, spacious rooms, free parking: PERFECT for family but not only.

The room was 5 star, very expensive, but during my three nights stay nobody changed the towels, nor the bedsheets. The noise coming from the street (bad music) in the evenings/nights was extremely loud, even with the windows closed. I had two guests coming over at the hotel’s private beach, and they were practically thrown away, the reason being that the beach is ”private”, although the law provides that regular people must be allowed too and they should receive special areas on “private” beaches. The bar on the private beach never issued any fiscal document for the money received for drinks. The room had bugs and roaches. Under the balcony is a very noisy generator, impossible to stay out due to the noise. NOBODY in the hotel wore masks, nor the staff, neither the clients. Restaurant extremely expensive. Stay away. Far away.

This a good hotel for the position, near the beach, i think that his biggest points come from the restaurant. The staff from the restaurant are young people, in practice i think and they do a very good job. The food is good not fancy but tasty and the prices are the lowest on Black Sea in a raport quality-price. The lowest score for this hotel goes to the room. The furniture is old. The pool is great, overall a good hotel.

The room is spacious, the bathroom is a little bit crowded and it's ventilation system tricky. The breakfast is good, wide variety of fruits and breakfast related food. The restaurant is nice, with tasty food and very cheap for the quality and taste. The pool is big and clean and the garden is unique. Overall it was a nice experience here, the staff are very nice and well trained.

We have visited the hotel for a week this August and we have seen everything except what the 4 stars that they boast about should represent. The best: The cleanliness in the rooms. The meals are of a minimal variety and repeated every day and every night of the week. The cleanliness of the oil and vinegar sets of the tables, worthy of a jail. The "all inclusive" is limited to the hours of breakfast, lunch and dinner and only in the products that are included in these three tables. Any other consumption of any kind (food or drink) must be paid for. Parking is NON-EXISTING (24 places for approximately 60 rooms) as long as you do not “negotiate” to be able to put your car in the hotel parking behind another car. The reception staff asks you for 'respect' (a word of which, obviously, they do not know its meaning) when you arrive at the hotel after 10 hours of travel, you ask them to open the parking barrier and they tell you that you do not have a place and that you have to find on your own where to park the car. As for the pool, you will not find any of the indications regarding its depth, required by law. Aggravating, the fact that there is no lifeguard in it (also mandatory by law in hotels with swimming pools) Chlorine in the pool: Stored in the sun and within the reach of any adult / child who is curious to know what that yellow liquid is in 25-liter drums.

The hotel is renovated, clean and the service was good. It is located in a quiet part of the town, has a nice garden with places to relax and kids to play. Rooms are reasonable size with balcony. AC in all of them. The sounds from the hallway can be heard quite loud unfortunately.

This is a pretty old hotel. Very plain rooms with a weird smell. Old beds, plain bathrooms. Reminds old communist vacation sites for the party members and their families (and i've visited a few). But I liked it. I visited not during a summer season, so I am sure by the summer they do a make-over. Very nice and helpful people at the front desk.
