Reviewed By WayneMoffat1Booked through on line travel agent and was pleasantly surprised. Arrived late and host had accomodated us without fuss. Clean spacious room. Great breakfast in morning and hosts again went above and beyond. Not on the beach but is very close. Recommend.

Travelled by train from UK and arrived after reception closed but our keys were in a wall safe with a digicode sent to us on our fone days before. The hotel is very good value for money and only one street from the beach. A short walk to a supermarket and an open market. Also a 10 minute walk into town. An undiscovered gem for British people. Going again. ps reception staff are friendly and helpful

Lovely holiday apartment, great location
Reviewed By NSismanHad a wonderful 2 weeks here with my husband and our 11 year old daughter. The site was lovely and quiet, with fabulous warm swimming pools, plenty of sun loungers, free WiFi zone, very friendly staff. The accomodation was perfectly adequate for our needs, bed was comfy! Main living area was lovely and cool in the hot weather, but the bedroom was quite hot at night and a ceiling fan would help. There were lovely beaches nearby, 5-10 km away, plus 2 good supermarkets also 5km away. The staff on site were very friendly and helpful. The whole holiday was booked through Brittany Ferries.

Good value base for exploring the area
Reviewed By WWW'sWe stayed at the Résidence Goélia La Grande Plage for 6 nights at the end of August/beginning of September 2017 and were able to get the short duration by booking through a well known on-line booking agency. Although we had booked a 1 bedroom apartment for 2 adults and a teenager, we were allocated a 3 bedroom apartment on the ground floor, so we had much more space than expected. The apartment was clean, tidy, well equipped for our needs and the beds were made up when we arrived. Having a ground floor apartment meant that we had plenty of terrace space and although facing the road, it was a very quiet location. The apartment complex and grounds were kept tidy and there was plenty of secure off road parking. The apartments are a short walk to the beach and you can walk to the restaurants in the town.

Lovely self catering apartment
Reviewed By Michelle LSmall but well designed apartment, which was a good location to the sea, dunes, town and plenty for our son to do during the day, hired bikes, played table tennis, golf, peddled around a lake, and went for walks around the complex which was clean and safe. Accomodation was a little dated, and smaller than expected, but the price and location compensated. Easy to find (drove from UK)and had a very memorable break with the family. Make sure you drive around outside of the resort, visit the port and town.

Our residence is located 1 km from the beach and is set in grounds of about 2 hectares , fully enclosed . The residence is quiet , near the forest and fn sandy beaches of Saint Hilaire de Riez . Holiday village open all year , weekly rentals or weekend ( except holidays ), come and enjoy the indoor pool and heated to 28 ° C (open from late March to early November) , sauna, fitness room , tennis court , mini- golf, a family atmosphere , and animations during the school holidays ...
Another great holiday at Le Hameau de L'ocean
Reviewed By DubtoneThis is our third year running at Le Hameau de L'ocean and it was excellent from start to finish. The venue is ideal, the staff are very attentive and the atmosphere is perfect. The facilities are great with plenty to do from swimming to beach volleyball, it has everything.
