Reviewed By Ana Lucia HIf you're traveling from Brasilia - the Brazilian capital - or from Belo Horizonte - capital of the state of Minas Gerais - to the beaches on the south coast of the state of Espírito Santo, hotel Venturim can be like a well located oasis in a desert. The road down the hill is very tiring and if you leave the federal district early in the morning you'll probably reach the hills of Espírito Santo in the evening. The landscape is very beautiful on the hills and there are nice rocks that can only be seen in daylight. So why not stop in a little town settled by Italian immigrants? Venturim Hotel is well by the road. We had a clean, recently remodeled and spacious room with a nice hot shower. The car can be parked in front of the hotel located in a gas station. After you arrive you can have pasta and wine in one of the restaurants in a 5 minute drive. There are winter festivals depending on the season. In the morning if you love orchids like I do you can visit an orchid shop with hundreds of flowers by the gas station. Breakfast is good, healthy and included. Then you can hit the road and visit the Blue Rock and many beautiful little towns on your way to the sea. The hotel is not expensive in a nice region where Pousadas are costly. But the fee is per person - around US$ 25 - depending on the room. So check the price before you check in.
