We discovered a stylish new restaurant Verona last week when we visited Veliko Tarnovo. Me and my family were pleasantly surprised with the cozy atmosphere, delicious food and friendly and professional staff. I definitely recommended this restaurant and we will visit it again next time when we are in the city.

This Italian Bistro is the most amazing experience you will have.You are welcomed with massive smiles from the moment you open the door. When you are trying to figure out what you want to eat, the chef will take you on a magical journey, explaining all the dishes in detail with such passion and attention to detail. Once you have made your choice, the food is all prepared fresh and from the very best Italian produce only. When your chosen dish arrives, you are then transported to heaven when you taste your meal. The presentation, the colours, the flavours are all just far too fabulous that no words could do it justice. (Just to be clear, I can only pick on date to say when I visited. This is a nice little pizzeria next door to the Allegro Hotel. Service was good, not great. The prices were very reasonable. Outdoor seating on a pedestrian street.

We were recommended Ego restaurant by the owner of our accommodation so Day 1 we went and had a great meal with good service. So we returned the next day and what a change. Poor service, very long wait for our meals that came separately about 20 minutes apart. With no apologies or explanations. It was late afternoon so not busy so we were extremely disappointed and with so many other great restaurants close by we wonât be returning.
