This place is awesome. It's busy and fun! The food was amazing. I had the "godfatha" sandwich and it was so good! I will definitely come here again.

All the food here is heavenly. We try to go in "off peak" hours, to avoid long waits for a table. (BYOB). Everything is wonderful -- pastas, pizzas, salads and sandwiches. Among our favorites are the wild mushroom ravioli with garlic, rosemary sauce, all the pizzas (fresh ingredients and a "lightness" which is uncharacteristic of NJ pizzas which are overloaded with cheese), all the salads (our favorites are the beet salad and the kale Caesar), and the mortadella and mozzarella sandwich. A small restaurant in the popular downtown area of Maplewood, so plan your arrival strategically.

The Red Cadillac specializes in Tacos & Tequilas. A Great selection of top shelf tequilas, including 10 flavors of house infused tequila. Also, everything is made from scratch. Even the taco shells & tortillas. Great decor & fun concept. Restaurant , Bar & Lounge are all GREAT...
We went here last night (Friday) with 4 adults and 6 kids. Waited and 1 hour and 10 minutes to receive our Entrees. After 45-50 minutes, we asked them what was taking so long and they said that they were very busy and because we...MoreTravellingRealtor, Our small family business....thanks you for taking the time to write a review.... The Able Baker specializes in cakes, cookies, pies, and breakfast sweets. Custom cakes and custom cookies are made based on a customer's requests and needs. We brew La Colombe coffee and pull La Colombe espresso drinks from a beautiful La Marzocco GB/5. And we steep Steven Smith Teamaker's excellent teas and tisanes.
Great scones, muffins, cookies, and breakfast breads - and more! Not too long after it opened, the Able Baker quickly became an important part of the community when it opened up its doors - and outlets - to residents to charge their devices after Super Storm Sandy. Crowds have returned ever since for coffee and a variety of baked goodies and the business has become a gathering place. Highly recommended for both the quality of their food and their support of the community.

This is one of the best bakeries in Central New Jersey. The go to place for many residents for every day needs, special events and the holidays. Well prepared cakes, pies and cookies. Can get very crowded on the holiday weeks and best to order ahead as popular items sell out quickly. A couple soft points, service can be inconsistent as they employee lots of people and some are more helpful than others, parking is limited so can be difficult to park close. Finally after spending an hour speaking in person with them they didn't deliver the special order cake as requested.

Bagels Supreme is the gem of our town. They have the best bagels in New Jersey and probably in the whole tri state area.
We are addicted to their bagels. Our teen picky eaters who barely eat anything, can’t get enough of their bagels and mini bagels.our son loves their ‘grilled cheese’ bagel and I don’t mind getting them at 6 am in the morning when they first open the shop.
I like their egg salad.
On several occasion, we did catering from this place and also purchased bagels fur our school events.
The best part, they are also kosher which a huge plus!
The service is always good , very nice people.
When our kids were younger, they always gave us extra mini bagels fir them!
I wish they were open 24/7 and they had a bigger place to sit in and enjoy even more!

Small and unassuming looking restaurant in a shopping center, but food was excellent. A huge menu for a place with so few tables. And they were happy to accommodate requests. Don't miss their special mint lemonade. A generous portion of appetizers in the sampler was a great start.

Very reasonable lunch special. We shared the perfectly cooked calamari and the house special chicken dish. Fresh bread arrived first with olive oil and preserved garlic. Then we each had a light and fresh Caesar before the calamari arrived hot from the pan. Second course was timed right and was also fresh and hot. We did not order desert but a small serving of their famous bread pudding was served for us to sample. It was amazing! The server was very friendly and we felt so welcomed.

Local Ingredients Deeply Rooted in French Technique
After years of reading reviews and hearing about this restaurant, we finally made reservations so we could judge for ourselves. Well, all we can say is exceptional! Every bite, every server met every expectation. The only tiny criticism would be the size of our table for two. We would have been a little more comfortable with a few extra inches. We will certainly be back to enjoy each seasonal menu.

Basilico was established by co-owners Mario DeMarco and Angelo Delbecchi, formerly of Sergio's; also in Millburn. Both are graduates of the Hotel Management School in Alassio, Italy. Both from Italy, they have brought their original and authentic Italian cuisine to create Basilico.
We had dinner at this well regarded Italian restaurant and we are glad we did. The decor is attractive and the service was excellent. First we were brought a basket of warm, fresh breads and not just the usual butter, but roasted garlic puree and a blend of sun-dried tomatoes and olive oil. It was delicious. For appetizers my wife and I shared the grilled calamari with greens, it too was superb. For my main course I had the Branzino with herbs and lemon, with broccoli rabe and garlic. The fish was cooked perfectly and the herb infused olive oil combined to create a wonderful meal. Other diners had the roast pork shank (delicious), the Pappardelle Bolognese (with fresh pasta) and a grilled fish with cherry tomatoes, and olives (also superb). This was an excellent meal.
