After a week of eating Swedish food, the flavors and aromas of Taj Mahal were a welcome change. The food is quite good and I returned a second night in a row. The only reason I don't rank this higher is that the service was very slow, as was the food preparation. For how quiet the restaurant was, I should have gotten in and out in less time.

We were there on a friday night and without a reservation. we were seated and felt very welcome. The menu was extensive and covered all the bases. the food was reasonably priced, very delicious and matched by polite, efficient service.Nice atmosphere and easy to find location. I will happily return.

Located in the Technology Building on the main campus of Umeå University. The food is tasty and prepared fresh every day.You can order a box for take away or sit and enjoy the buffet. The atmosphere is rather dull, but the delicious food makes up for it.
