If we need to talk frankly, Karlstad is a small and cute town in sweet Sweden. But this restaurant managed to surprise us a lot. It has a very special architecture and decorated very nicely. People met us at the door kindly and showed our table. Especially our waiter, Marcus, was extremely experienced and kind person. He helped us a lot by his recommendations but for food and wine. We started our dinner with coctails. We ordered Pina Daiquiri and Cafe a La Nuez...Boomm...Both was fantastic....Cafe a La Nuez has been the best cocktail I have ever had so far. We have ordered 5 different type of tapas and 1 wine. The food was fantastic. We really liked everything a lot. But our favorite was Hamburguesa. It was mini hamburger with a very delicious meat in it. After our food, we ordered deserts. If you are a crazy chocolate lover like me, you should definately try their Tryffel.. It was a big success..... :-)So I strongly suggest this restaurant, if you visit Karlstad one day, since it is a very good option for a good foor and a romantic night ;-)PS: Clothing should be little bit more elegant than casual, but definately not overdressing :-)

So my friends and I popped into this restaurant after scouting around the Karlstad city for a while. The man behind the bar counter greeted us instantly, spoke fluent English, and seeing as that we are obviously tourists, offered to translate their Lunch Menu without us asking. And he did so very patiently, going down the entire menu of about 5 to 6 dishes, and answered all the questions we had. We then put in our orders, and were told that water and juice is self-service and unlimited, as is the salad bar farther into the restaurant.Decor inside is very cosy and comfortable, and the food was served really quickly. Not that it meant any drop in standards, because we all found our food very good indeed.Would definitely recommend them for a decent and reasonably-priced Italian lunch in Karlstad!
