Imagine you could stay in a boutique hotel but only pay for the part of it you actually use. At Pangea, that’s what we created – designer pod accommodation that’s affordable, central, and social. It’s a hub where guests can meet like-minded travelers, but still have their own personal space at the end of the day. Best of all, we put it right in the heart of Whistler’s iconic village.
The Pangea is a really great hotel - I can't recommend it enough. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff were incredibly friendly on arrival. The pod itself was clean, surprisingly spacious, and had some great features like built in fans for circulating air, loads of charging points and shelfs to store things on. There was also a separate locker for larger bags. In the shared space, there were plenty of showers and toilets, all of which were private and very clean. The hotel is in a perfect location for both drop off for the buses from Vancouver, and also access to the mountains. Amazing.

I had originally booked a trip to Vancouver and last minute ended up cancelling due to rise of covid cases & forest fires. A number of days advance notice was given too. I was able to get refunds and free cancellations for everything else I had booked, except this place. The management team was not very helpful or understanding of the situation. I was charged hundreds of dollars when I didn’t even stay at the hotel. I don’t think that is very hospitable or fair to the Guest. The guests can’t control rise of cases or natural disasters, and should not be be penalized for not visiting.

This perfect central location is near trendy Yaletown, and right in the middle of a shopping mecca on Robson Street. You can easily take a stroll to Gastown and North America's largest Chinatown. There's more to see at the beautiful gardens of Stanley Park or the markets of Granville Island. Discover Vancouver's fabulous shops, restaurants and cafes, take in a game or visit the theatre all from your urban oasis.
While meeting family members in Vancouver recently, we were stranded due to extensive flooding & landslides preventing our return home . We were so pleased a family member recommended the Rosedale. The staff were so friendly, courteous & caring, the hotel was spotlessly clean, the beds very comfortable, the breakfast was varied & always replenished. We felt secure & safe there & the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, they called us by name & wished us safe travels where we left. We would definitely recommend The Rosedale on Robson,, to anyone planning a trip to Vancouver. Janice & Al

Great location. Underground parking. Very clean. Coded access to room. Very clean. Had a kitchen. Go to front desk and check in and get your access card which has your room number and access code for the door. You enter the driveway, go up to the machine on the left, push your room number, then #, then the code on the card given to you by the front desk. Go down the driveway, then turn right after you have put in your code. We had a small balcony and it was in a great location for everything. I would stay there again. Due to Covid only one party in the elevator at one time. Different group would have to take the next elevator.

Shangri-La Oceanfront B&B is situated at the highest point of Pender Island's exclusive Oaks Bluff, offering unparalleled 360 degree views, surrounded by 10 acres of private natural surroundings with the ocean and sky framing your view. It is where time stands still and you are the only person in the world, you hidden paradise, your Shangri-La. Started in the late 1980s and fully renovated in 2017
We stayed here in September 2018, had just reopened for business under new management. Came again this July and we’re just as happy as the first time. Some more improvements have been made. The view will not disappoint. The host is super helpful when you arrive but makes themswef scarce afterward. We highly recommend this property for the price point and we will stay there again.

This is a private residence that operates as a B and B(without the breakfast, although I assume you could make yourself breakfast if you bring your own fixings). There are 4 bedrooms, 2 with ensuites. You have access to the living room, dining room and large kitchen where you are free to make coffee in the morning. The house and room were clean and the bed very comfortable. The hostess was prompt and very friendly. It was a good experience overall.

Shared bathroom. Hot summer but only a very weak fan that did not do the job. CCTV at top of stairs which was pointed towards the bedroom/bathroom.... shared fridge at top of stairs. Was asked to take off shoes when entering, was told we could use slippers which had clearly been worn previously. We walked out. And travelled 5 km to Ramada which was similar price and better facilities

We choose to stay Creekside at Whistler - affordability and easy ski-in/ ski-out access. Whistler Superior Properties recommended The Bluffs and we were very happy with the choice and the service from the firm. Upsides of this location include easy access down to Creekside gondola (often less busy than those lifting from Whistler and Blackcomb); downsides are you'd need to be an intermediate level skier to access the trails in/ out; and you'll either need a car or prepare for a $15 cab ride if you want to visit Whistler for apres. We miscalculated the walk down to Creekside (it's 30 minutes) where you can pick up the shuttle bus to Whistler - ok to do occasionally but not an everyday option.
