Poor maintenance
Reviewed By wolf3728Stayed in the hotel for two nights. The air conditioner was not working the first night, it was just the fan working. The temperature got to 28°C or 83°F. When tried to get it fixed during the night they did nothing. The next afternoon when I got back to the room it was still very hot. When I addressed the issue with the front desk they argued saying their maintenance person said he fix the problem. It was still 84°F in the room. They said to go to the room and the maintenance person would show up. He never did after one hour. But the air conditioning started to work finally. A lot of people rave about their lake view, all I saw was a construction site.

Decent 4 star hotel with great view
Reviewed By indozonerThe hotel was far from city center, but it had nice view of the lake. There was no ATM nearby & the hotel's rate for USD exchange wasn't good. To make it worse, I had to pay cash because the hotel failed to charge my credit cards (there were no problems with my cards). Room & bed were ok, but pillows were all flat & thin. They should have replaced the pillows. Overall, it was a decent, clean hotel with good services.

Reviewed By ShirinericaFrom the entrance, well decorated boutique hotel. The location is near center. There are stores, restaurants, sweet shops,etc... near by. The room is spacious, and clean. The bed is very comfortable. There is a nice bar, cafe and restaurant in this hotel. Not everyone speaks English, but all of them are very helpful. I would love to stay this hotel again

The Conforium Van Hotel was opened in June 2021 as a 5-star hotel in the city center and hosts its guests on business and touristic trips with its stylish, comfortable and spacious rooms. Our hotel serves with a total capacity of 78 rooms, including 6 corner suites, 6 suites and 1 handicapped room. The distance of our hotel to the airport is 5 km, and there is a view of Van Lake and the castle. The distance to Van Lake is 7 km. Our hotel has 1 à la carte restaurant where different tastes from Turkish and world cuisine will be served, breakfast room, wedding and meeting room for 250 people, indoor swimming pool, steam room, sauna, gym, massage rooms and Turkish bath. There is a bathroom, WC, air conditioning, minibar, complimentary tea, coffee, herbal teas and LCD TV. We offer free WI-FI and wired internet service in rooms and hotel public areas
Worst breakfast in Van…
Reviewed By AtomDamaliVan is a city with the most popular breakfast delicacies … Unfortunately Conforium hotel was an experience with one of the worst breakfast experience… A breakfast where olives were finished… simit (a delicious Turkish doughnut) was finished… tea ( worlds highest consumed beverage in the world is Turkey) was finished… Very unfortunate for such a beautiful city like Van…

Reviewed By nikan1976i was ran out of options in that time ... first of all it was 3 star hotel... then the breakfast was awful no options just local halva and cold food no warm food and you have to stick with cheese and bread and tea ... i all the time went to burger king to eat sth... then the appearance of hotel is good but the other thing was horrible ... oh god the Internet was so poor and you can not check your Instagram the staff can not speak English... in the end i will give it 2 out of 5
