Birdy Bakery offers coffee, wine, and a variety of delicious hand-made pastries and chocolates. Its location off city centre offers a welcome relief from the too-often trite and typical ski resort offerings - not that long of a walk anyway for a pleasant setting with light food and snacks on hand. Somebody mentioned that this place did a decent gin cocktail....so we wandered into the near empty, cold and harsh Tasty (from a snowstorm) and asked the idle bar man for a recommendation. He turned to the shelves, pointed to a bland whisky/spirit selection and said âtake your pickâ - wow, so helpful. We didnât bother in the end.
