The restaurant was quite busy when we arrived for a late lunch. Rather than sitting on the ground floor we chose to wait twenty minutes to get a table on the second floor near the windows that look out over the busy beach at Horcon. From there we could watch the swimmers, pelicans and fishing boats all bobbing in the water. The restaurant is very well lighted naturally from the expansive windows and the carved wood décor creates a pleasant ambiance. After a round of Pisco Sours the three of us ate a light lunch of either ceviche or seafood soup accompanied by a Chilean red wine. Delicious! The wait staff were pleasant and attentive and the roving folk singer an added bonus. The bill, tip included, came to CLP 45,000.

At the bottom of winding stairs carved out of the cliff side going down to the beach is this wonderful hidden restaurant. The most delish seafoods you will find anywhere. Beautiful vistas of the beach and ocean, you won't regret whatever adventure you may go through to find this establishment. Certainly worth the drive from Vina/ valparaiso!!!

Probably amongst the best cebiches in the horcon/puchuncavi area. Reataurant is very cozy the owner/chef comes personally to check on your table. The cebiche is fresh fish, with mango, avocado, etc, by far the richest in this area.

Me gustó mucho, ambiente hogareño, lindo jardín. Los dueños muy amables. Tiene estacionamiento. La comida fresca y rico. Hasta le hicieron un plato especial a mi hijo. Muy buena relación precio/calidad. Unos $60.000 por 5 personas. Lo recomiendo!
The best #SeaFood you can find them in La cocina de Alejo y Pao with a beautiful view of the bay of #Quintero. Visit us on Av. 21 de Mayo 1187 second floor, pier area #Quintero
Bonita vista, buena atencion.El consome de mariscos sabroso. Las empanadas de queso bien rellenas, pero las empanadas de marisco son un fraude, solo tienen cebolla. (me tocaron 2 choritos y 1 camaron dentro). Los platos de las mesas de al lado se veian abundantes. Esracienamiento en la calle.

This is a seafood restaurant. I was there with two very special people. It is decorated in various artisanal art forms. With an incredible view of the Pacific and the Quintero Bay. We had abalone, reineta a fish not familiar to us stateside (firm flesh somewhat similar in texture to Bass), salads, shrimp, clam sauce, pisco sour, fruit juices and cake for dessert. It is not elegant and the food is more of a "homemade" flavor. The chef and owner came to our table as he is acquainted with one of my friends. Inquiring of the food we had. It was a five hour lunch (of all things!) but we ate slow to savor our food and the ambience was for a pleasant afternoon with friends.

Do not get me wrong ... it's not a bad restaurant, but we were very disappointed. For that price, I expected a much better restaurant. My fried fish was just spines, not sure if the chef did not know how to cut it, but they are ways to minimize the spines in the filet. My wife's dish was assorted seafood ... all canned! Can you believe it?? The sea is right there ... how can you serve something canned?the waitress was kind, but wasn't enough.

After the fiasco with "La cocina de teuh" we tried the second best restaurant, and this time it was true! generous plates, very traditional place and tasty meals...we started with empanadas (cheese and shrimps!) after that I went for a fried fish, and my wife for a caldillo (fish soup)....both was very good, I finished my plate and went for the leftover of my wife....we were sailing all the morning and the soup was just what the doctor has prescribed!!there are a lot of restaurants near the port, you cannot be wrong choosing this one!
