Had a delightful lunch here yesterday. The food was very good as was the service. You need to make a reservation as the place is popular & busy. The menu is in three languages & the waiters speak multiple languages if you do not speak Italian. We'd return here the next time in Aosta. Worth a visit for lunch.

We walked 1km northwest from our Hotel Le Pageot to Restaurant Moderno, but finding it closed, searched for another. 100 meters north, we discovered a suitable 12 Euro Menu del Giorno next to a customer filled patio. Inside at the bar, the 6 tables were also filled, but 2 men departed and we were happy to sit, watching 4 waitresses scurrying about delivering meals while the owner helped and tallied payments. She came over to interpret the Italian menu(in French) and we chose; Pasta e fagioli, Filetto de gallinella alla calvino, apple pie, and a half litre of house rosado. The food was served hot, well presented, tasted delicious, and even though the facility was swamped with locals, we were never neglected. I used the clean restroom before walking downstairs to see the cava that extended way in the back, and discovered the pizza chef. I then climbed to the upstairs to see the large dining room, discovering the kitchen(and all the different desserts available that day.)The locals know about this place, and we were lucky to experience this memorable meal that totaled a reasonable 29 Euros.

Off main street fine cuisine. We took soup, stake and veil fried stake. Absolutely best fine french cuisine. We offered a local wine which was exactly what I needed. Very nice and friendly, pleasant atmosphere accompanied by a very quiet background music. Most recommended

We had dinner at the restaurant alongside the Hotel we were staying at in Aosta. We arrived just after opening time in the evening. Took a pleasant table near the heater as it was a little cool outside. The menu is basically a pizza menu but they do have hamburgers on offer. We chose a foccaccio with tomato which was very tasty and worth it. The hamburger we orderedâ¦..well we decided it would be best left to the Americans for hamburgers and the Italians keep to the pizza's.The glass of red wineâ¦I'm still wondering if it really was wine at all?? The coffee, that was ok but no cigar. My wife has a thing about coffeeâ¦.if the restaurant or coffee shop serves good coffee!⦠a reasonable (acceptable) meal can be expected.

Sapori di casa is the Aosta's restaurant which features authentic cooked recipes in the kitchen as it once was. Fresh pasta and high quality ingredients combined with love in cooked dishes made by Chef Elena. An intimate and cozy atmosphere will make you
Arrived here on the first evening of our holiday after a somewhat fraught journey. Therefore such a pleasure to receive such a warm, friendly, relaxing welcome at Sapori, located right across the street from our B&B, Le Reve Charmant.Service was attentive and unfussy. The standard and quality of the food was excellent. The primi pasta was top quality, with the pistachio crème brulee dessert a first and to die for!Reasonably priced and highly recommended.

Siamo un semplice negozio di pastafresca che dalle 12:15 alle 14:30 cuoce la pasta e la serve con i sughi del giorno. Si mangia a bancone oppure in take away. Il locale non fornisce il servizio toilette
This was a delight. If you speak Italian as badly as I do, then the owner compensates with excellent English and makes you feel at home.3 of us had different starters..solo good.Main plates were equally delightful. Our hard to please son declared the pasta the best he has ever had.Wonderful, and very filling. And then, stomachs very full, came dessert. 3 different ones tested and demolished. Again, excellent.A huge thank you for an experience we will enjoy for a long time.

An impromptu stop for lunch was a pleasant surprise. Although the menu was varied we went with one of the daily specials, pasta ragu. The ragu was flavourful, possibly because there was some ground liver in it, and the pasta was cooked just so. A salad, desserts of fresh fruit and creme brule with white chocolate, bottled water and coffees came to 34 euros in all. You can buy cheaper lunches in the area but none have been this flavourful. We will definitely return. Service in Italian or French.

Marco and Susi will welcome you in their local to sample breakfast of muffins and homemade cakes, cocktails with frivolity, while in the restaurant tasty dishes created with raw materials km 0, interpreted in a modern and Pop.
We came to this restaurant through a local hint. Cooking is really excellent, professional and creative. Very fresh and tasty ingredients. Service caring and attentive. We'll be back, hopefully!

An excellent restaurant, serving excellent local food in a warm mountain atmosphere, and the views from outside the place are to die for.Only catch is, it is about 17 km of winding road up from the main Aosta valley, and there is no public transport. Reservation essential, as the place is fairly small.
