The fixed price traditional menu isnât cheap at 47 euro, but itâs great value. The quality is stupendous-easily deserving a Michelin star. Friendly and informative service; very highly recommended. NB This is the same restaurant also described as La Clusaz Della Familia Grange in a separate entry on Trip Advisor.

We come to La Chaumiere every time we pass by Aosta. The place is very nice and Marco and Lucia will do everything to make you feel at home. The food is exceptional, especially the meat, but do not miss the traditional recipes! Personally, I love the âFilettiniâ, incredibly tender raw meat seasoned with your choice of onions, artichokes and Parmesan cheese. Of course âMocettaâ and âLardo di Arnadâ should be tasted because they are second to nothing. The wine list is impressive too. Do yourself a favor, have a meal here!

Sapori di casa is the Aosta's restaurant which features authentic cooked recipes in the kitchen as it once was. Fresh pasta and high quality ingredients combined with love in cooked dishes made by Chef Elena. An intimate and cozy atmosphere will make you
Arrived here on the first evening of our holiday after a somewhat fraught journey. Therefore such a pleasure to receive such a warm, friendly, relaxing welcome at Sapori, located right across the street from our B&B, Le Reve Charmant.Service was attentive and unfussy. The standard and quality of the food was excellent. The primi pasta was top quality, with the pistachio crème brulee dessert a first and to die for!Reasonably priced and highly recommended.

Phenomenal experience, not only because of the delicious meal, but the service was incredible. We stopped in with no reservation and our baby and enjoyed a relaxing, wonderful lunch. Genuinely nice people run the restaurant. Would recommend it to everyone, beautiful location as well!

Siamo un semplice negozio di pastafresca che dalle 12:15 alle 14:30 cuoce la pasta e la serve con i sughi del giorno. Si mangia a bancone oppure in take away. Il locale non fornisce il servizio toilette
This was a delight. If you speak Italian as badly as I do, then the owner compensates with excellent English and makes you feel at home.3 of us had different starters..solo good.Main plates were equally delightful. Our hard to please son declared the pasta the best he has ever had.Wonderful, and very filling. And then, stomachs very full, came dessert. 3 different ones tested and demolished. Again, excellent.A huge thank you for an experience we will enjoy for a long time.

An impromptu stop for lunch was a pleasant surprise. Although the menu was varied we went with one of the daily specials, pasta ragu. The ragu was flavourful, possibly because there was some ground liver in it, and the pasta was cooked just so. A salad, desserts of fresh fruit and creme brule with white chocolate, bottled water and coffees came to 34 euros in all. You can buy cheaper lunches in the area but none have been this flavourful. We will definitely return. Service in Italian or French.

Imagine a large round of Vacherin Mont d'Or (raw milk cheese) sitting in a wooden case and heated in the oven to melting, served with mountain grown potatoes, a variety of cold cut prosciutto, salami, capocollo and pickled onions and gherkins. Now imagine a thick hamburger size bun with the top cut off and the bottom side hollowed out to hold an entire rondelle of squishy melted brie, and served with a side bowl of boiled mountain potatoes wrapped in bacon; pickled onions and gherkins on the side. Wash this down with a glass or two of local select wines and enjoy the ambience. By the way the mountain potatoes are grown locally within 1000 to 1800 metre altitude. The village of Ossein just above Aymavilles is renowned for its dark skinned and sweet tasting potatoes. Recommended by locals and after a couple visits I'd bet this is the local hotspot in Aymavilles. The place was hopping each evening we went. There are cute outdoor open ended cabins for groups of 8 or so as well as tables and chairs. Indoors the ground floor is a bustle of the bar, kitchen and half dozen tables with more tables below. Staff are friendly and you can make reservations. The menu is on the wall offering about a dozen or so 'aperitivo' food options. You can't miss the place. Just drive into Aymavilles and just before the first traffic circle across from the 'Municipio' (town hall) look for a place to park. It's obvious.

Was staying in the hotel above and the restaurant below is truly exceptional. Beatrice is super professional and the ever-changing menu of regional specials is simply outstanding. We went for a selection of cured meats & salamis for antipasti and the blue Aosta cheese gnocchi for primi. This was complemented by an excellent local red wine. The fruit sorbet dessert was beautifully presented and very light. I wish I'd had the opportunity to eat here more than just the once. It's worth going back to Arvier just to eat your way through the whole menu!

Marco and Susi will welcome you in their local to sample breakfast of muffins and homemade cakes, cocktails with frivolity, while in the restaurant tasty dishes created with raw materials km 0, interpreted in a modern and Pop.
We came to this restaurant through a local hint. Cooking is really excellent, professional and creative. Very fresh and tasty ingredients. Service caring and attentive. We'll be back, hopefully!
