The peaks of Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn and their fellow snow-capped giants make Italy's Valle d'Aosta region a haven for serious skiers and hikers. The Courmayeur resort offers year-round icy adventures, thanks to its Giant Glacier. The country's oldest national park, Gran Paradiso, is also located in Valle d'Aosta, as are numerous castles. A cable car ride from La Palud carries passengers over the mountains all the way into Chamonix, France, offering a bird's eye view of the breathtaking scenery.

This is one place that is better than how it looks on Tripadvisor or even their own website. Ideal for families, great quality accommodation, great location, and above all great staff. In particular the service we received from Claudio and the lady with him (sorry forgot your name!), was amazing. Thoroughly recommend it and will be back, for sure! Manish Jain

Conveniently located in the centre of town and close to a public and a private parking, the apartments are well renovated and include all amenities. The style is simple, efficient and tasteful. Both Andrea and Roberto have been efficient and helpful, graciously welcoming to this little amazing place. Roberto shared many info about town and where to go to get a true local experience. As we were three people, it was very useful to have a living room with a sofa bed and a separate bedroom. Having a small kitchen can be very convenient to go around town to buy ham and cheese and eat it in privacy. Aosta can be a very good base to travel around the region or to go skiing around the Mont Blanc area.

We've chosen this location as our base for our daily hiking activities. We had a nice room with kitchen and a balcony (amazing view of the Valley). The owner family is very kind and helpful. I absolutely recommend the residence bellevue.

We stayed in 2 bedroom apartment booked through Crystal Ski, very pleased with standard of accommodation. Spacious and so useful to have 2 toilet/shower rooms. We found staff very pleasant and helpful, it is always busy at check-in when a airport bus arrives, but staff processed us as quickly as possible and lots of information on the Hotel App. Apartment was extremely clean and well presented. Local supermarket had a range of options. The residences are very close to the ski school meeting point which was perfect for us.

Liked · Pluses- Mark is very friendly and gave us lots of hiking info that we appreciated, he let us check out at 11am and gave my husband a fan so he could sleep at night. Bed is comfortable, linens are cotton which was great. I believe the host has genuine intentions and changing little things would make someone's stay more comfortable. For us unfortunately the apartment did not meet the expectations. I AM GIVING A DECENT STAR RATING BECAUSE OF Mark's attitude and friendliness. Disliked · I requested an upstairs room and received a handicapped room on the bottom floor. This was a problem because we did not feel safe to open the door at night to let the air in. So at night we were miserably hot. Internet was very slow, not suitable for business purposes ( no upload speed), my husband has to work at night and this caused problems with his work No hair dryer, no pepper, and basic supplies other than what other people left from many years ago, no microwave Towels were not changed even once during our 5 night stay, no trash bags supplied

Nice and quiet location, lots of space for a family but standard very old fashion and poor with hard beds, sheets and old blankets instead of quilts, broken shower and dirty floors. Difficult to get hold of the manager because the office was closed every time we came there.

We stayed here only one night, on our way to Provence France to experience some Italian food and culture. Aosta was a sleepy little town, that became lively after dark. Our accommodations were perfect for exploring Aosta and as there were three of us, the three bedroom apartment was perfect. Loved the outside private area to relax with some wine. The place was well maintained and cared for, with lovely gardens too. The friendly owners little dog greeted us...he was too cute. There was a nearby grocery store for breakfast items. Gorgeous mountain views from every angle. Very good price for what we received. Definitely recommend.

We had a pleasant one night stay at Le Relais du Relax. Our hostess Luciana was very helpful. We arrived with our 5 year old and the room was perfect for our needs, including a comfortable beds, good Wifi, central location and small kitchenette. The vibe was cozy and family-oriented and we enjoyed being within walking distance of the main sites and recommended restaurants during our (too) short visit in Aosta. Warmly recommended.
