We are a your typical family owned restaurant in Valdosta, GA. We are first-generation immigrants with two daughters who were born in the USA. For over 13 years we have dedicated ourselves to cooking food from multiple ethnicity origins. We have found a way to express our sensitivity and love we have for human beings and nature through our food. In our long journey interacting with multiple gastronomic cultures we have found that all countries cuisines have rich qualities that deserve to be exposed and known to the American people. In this cultural adventure, cooking multi-ethnic food, we want to keep the fundamentals of each recipe but put a special emphasis on the nutritional aspects of it. We use only the best and most natural ingredients. Our concept can fits into a casual style restaurant, where we put important touches in the use of technology as a tool to carry out our marketing strategy. We believe today, more than ever, we are living in a world without borders, a world where it is incredibly easy to penetrate other cultures and meet other lifestyles ways of feeding humans. It is there, where our culinary proposal comes together making a reality this enriching experience of knowing the world.
The food and hospitality are both amazing! The empanadas are wonderful; the cheese is white and melty, the beef is juicy and flavorful, the chicken is shredded and marinated to perfection. My favorite empanada is the Honduran, the dough is crispy and filling is tasty. Fried yucca is a must... and so are the plantains! If you love fried cuisine, this place is a must-visit!

Our restaurant offers an extensive menu for dine-in or take-out. We do have facilities for private parties. There are plenty of good Italian restaurants, but very few combine great food, friendly service, and affordability all in a comfortable family atmosphere. At Mom and Dad’s Restaurant, we put them all together, so you can relax and feel right at home.
This is an elegant Italian restaurant with white table clothes and well-trained waiters. However, I did not feel out of place wearing a flannel shirt. (Maybe I should have!) The food was excellent. The spaghetti-a-la-Bruzzi is a cheesy spaghetti casserole and a perfect dish when you crave Italian. I could have made a meal on the bread. This seems to be a favorite of the locals as well. Several tables around us seemed to be regular customers and you may have to wait in line for a table.

At Steel Magnolias in Valdosta, GA our food base is urban Southern, taking the roots of classic Southern cuisine and showing a new way of looking at them. We serve our fare with an old familiar smile, where our patrons are surprised by a new approach, yet still know the secret handshake. We prepare the best quality ingredients at the freshest possible point and allow them to speak for themselves. We support local farmers and Artesian producers in an effort to become a supporting element in the community and drive our “eat local, be local” philosophy.
Grilled romaine salad, and entrees of crispy eggplant, and a braised beef and these will not disappoint. Great dinner tonight.
When you are traveling it is difficult to eat well. Either you are in a rush or you are not close to a restaurant like Steel Magnolia. We took the time, decided to also try something new, and WOW! Restaurant is in downtown Valdosta and not far off Interstate 75, exit 16. A couple we talked to at another table agreed with me on the salad and beef which they had. So don’t just take my word for this highest of my high recommendation.

This place is expensive. I come when I have to for work. My co-workers love this place but I am the lowest paid of the group so it's painful to have to come here. I would order a salad but the expensive salads have no meat. I ordered the Southern Club...It's ok but still too expensive but it gets me through lunch. Please be prepared to spend $$$ when you come here.

Phone 229-245-8BBQ - it looked like it had just opened
The Smok'n Pig is a fun place for families, couples and groups of friends to eat. You will find endless variations on BBQ, steaks, smoked prime beef (check the website for which days), free refills for iced tea and sodas, rolls of paper towels on the tables.... That being said, the food is finger-lickin' good and those paper towels come in handy.
The salad bar is well-stocked and diverse. It is very difficult to keep one tidied up in such a huge restaurant but the staff does a good job. The problem simply lies with the diners.
We have tried a number of different items over the years. It is difficult to choose what to eat because everything looks so appealing.... but one side that is always chosen is the Brunswick stew. It's like Grandma used to make.... Check the attached photo to see how your meal will be served! Prices are fair and you get your money's worth, plus good home-style cooking, at The Smok'n Pig.

My wife and I along with our son, daughter-in-law, and grandsons were extremely pleased with the friendly service and great food. We were en route to Florida for vacation and decided to spend the night in Valdosta. Found GG’ on Trip Advisor. We arrived near closing and it took a little longer then what we were expecting but it was well worth the wait. GG came by to apologize for the wait and to make sure we were pleased with the food. Friendly and gracious service. Nothing fancy just great food.

Staying overnight in Valdosta and saw this place advertised, just down the street from our motel so thought we’d try it. Nothing fancy which is fine. Seated quickly on a Friday night, friendly staff and timely service. Plenty of food but we decided it’s just “meh”. Fried items aren’t really greasy, crunchy with light breading but items taste the same since the same breading is used on everything. Cole slaw had a nice chop to it, little flavor and almost creamy. If you’re in the mood for seafood that’s better than Long John Silvers and don’t mind paying $12-15/per person and can’t wait for something better give it a try.

Legendary Food, Legendary Service
Whenever we travel from Cape Coral Florida to our home in pigeon forge Tennessee we stop in Valdosta Georgia at the Texas Roadhouse. Always a good meal. The manager Diana was exceptional. Good service and good food prepared to perfection. Highly recommend. Rating... Excellent

Saw their billboard on I-75, looked 'em up on Trip Advisor ... hmmm, sounds good. Glad we tried it. Hubby had the Blackened Grouper, it was excellent. I had the Cajun Grilled Shrimp, asked for the seasoning to be lightly applied. The shrimp was delicious, the seasoning just right. It is served with a remoulade sauce that was good, but the shrimp was so good by itself, I just couldn't bring myself to dunk it in the remoulade. Their salads are fresh, the dressing tasty. We had the house made ranch, which was really good - not too thick. They serve huge baked potatoes, done just right. We thought the prices were quite reasonable and you will not leave hungry!! If you're a beer drinker, go during Happy Hour - draft beer $2.00.

Easy, quick and affordable is the way I would describe this buffet restaurant. Friday dinner with drink was 15.00 before tip.
Decent Fried Chicken. The fried shrimp was tasty but very small. The cheese grits and cream corn was good
The drink service was timely and good
Overall decent experience.
