Reviewed By Explorer18614269510We had an absolutely fantastic one night stay at Hotel Joyet de Maubec. The views from our room were stunning. The village of Uzerche is well worth a visit too. This hotel is right at the top of the village amongst its cobbled streets and very old buildings. The hotel has been renovated to the highest of standards. From arrival to leaving everything was perfect. The room was clean and luscious with a lovely bathroom too. Breakfast was served to us at our table and was so yummy. We couldn’t eat in the restaurant as we stayed on a Sunday so they booked us a table at a fairly local restaurant within 15 minutes drive where we had the most enjoyable meal. Well priced for the service given. Thanks for making us so welcome, we will revisit again I hope, on our journey to our property in the south of France x❤️??????❤️x

Reviewed By JeffB4706We would stay here again: met our modest criteria for a one-night stay. Room furnishings very basic. Tile floors. Free parking across the street and also behind the hotel; the cross-street parking is most convenient. Easy system for checking in during the early afternoon hours when the front desk is closed. Restaurant in the hotel was unexpectedly good.

Don’t hesitate book this pretty little hotel ? The breakfast was also very nice , excellent walks close by the town ! We met the owner a gentleman !

Reviewed By 436kathlWe stayed in the Vezere Studio apartment for three weeks while checking out this beautiful area. The apartment is really cosy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Everything was spotlessly clean - a relief in these uncertain times - and the housekeeping was handled beautifully- any requests were met immediately. There is an efficient hob and fridge and adequate cooking facilities for making simple meals and the restaurant downstairs is handy and serves tasty food at mealtimes. The rooms are a very short walk from the centre of Uzerche and handy for the Friday night market.

Reviewed By RugoneBuona la posizione vicino al centro. Disponibilità di parcheggio privato per la moto Arrivati alle 15,30 l'hotel era chiuso. Sentito il titolare telefonicamente mi ha risposto che la regola è che l'hotel apre alle 17 e non si poteva anticipare. Abbiamo dovuto attendere sino alle 17 per avere la camera (che non aveva la serratura funzionante) A questi prezzi non è ammissibile avere i servizi igienici in comune e dover comunicare la sera precedente l'ora della colazione per la mattina successiva.

Reviewed By neceryA première vue cet endroit est sympathique au vu de son emplacement dans le joli village d’Uzerche. Malheureusement la propriétaire semble sérieusement regretter ce choix de métier ou peut-être a-t-elle un problème avec les personnes de moins de 30 ans. Outre l’éclairage inexistant et la déco vieillotte et aigrie (à l’image de la personne), cette femme n’a aucun sens de l’hospitalité. Malgré la courtoisie et le silence absolu dont nous avons fait preuve, nous nous sommes fait engueulés comme des gamins car nous avions utilisé des coussins qui manifestement étaient à notre disposition dans notre chambre (???). De plus, à aucun moment il ne nous a été signifié de devoir quitter la chambre à 10h30 sous peine de coups de poing sur la porte (????). On nous a également reproché de ne pas passer dire bonne nuit avant d’aller nous coucher... nous ne voulions simplement pas déranger mais ce doit être un concept qui vous échappe. Nous avons fini par devoir écourter notre séjour puisque madame hurlait des insultes à l’égard de mon copain. Ce genre d’endroit existe donc bel et bien. Courage au monsieur qui quotidiennement doit subir les injustices de sa femme. A préciser que nous ne sommes pas le genre de personnes à poster un avis uniquement lorsque cela se passe mal et que je ne prends aucun plaisir à vous adresser ces mots.
