We stopped at this place while returning from Tarkeshwar temple. We were very hungry and had Maggie and Linda. I think they had served yipee instead of Maggie. The resort has nice valley views and excellent weather: but still under construction. It is apt for those who are looking for only a basic accommodation or want to stay near the temple.

The Indian stuff is tasty and has good options. Prices are moderate and will suit most budgets. Staff is gentle and provides good service.

08 June, 2016.OakTown's Flavour is a small restaurant in Lansdowne, which isvery close to the main market, in Gandhi Chowk, Sadar Bazar.We went past this small joint quite a few times, which advertisesitself as a `multi-cuisine family restaurant'.The advertising is quite extensive, since it also says,`rooms available', implying accommodation as well. While most ofour meals were at our hotel itself (the GMVN Guest House), one ofour light snack-cum-meals was here: we had some dal and rotis,which were hot and fresh. We washed it down with cups of tea.Rates are reasonable, and the place is neat and clean.Nothing fantastic, but nice, all the same!

It's right on the sadar bazar square and enjoyed largest footfall of the area primarily because it has more seating capacity than any other restaurant in the vicinity. The food is all pure veg and is okay sort of.

This is a cheap quick bite restaurant, we can't call it a place worth having lunch or dinner. However its fine for a cup of tea & bit of snacks

Do not be misled by the outside appearance. It is small, exterior uninspiring and uninviting. But one needs to keep in mind Lansdowne, a small town, has a few restaurants outside Hotels. We had lunch one day. Simple one consisting of dal, vegetable dish ( subjee ), rice, roti and yoghurt. It was clean, fresh and very tasty and inexpensive. Service good, fast and pleasent. I wish they make the exterior a little more attractive. I strongly recommend it.
