We were staying in Country Inn which is quite far from this resto and didn't know there is some other country inn (prefixed with some Victoria or something). We ordered food over phone and the owner (young man, forgot his name) accepted the order thinking it to be the latter. Its only when he reached at the wrong address he realised that where we were staying was quite far and its not practical to deliver order there. But hats off to his commitment, he came all the way to this Country Inn in Bhimtal to deliver the food which was more than worth every penny. We really wish that this man and his business grows for his genuine efforts Next day we had our breakfast again at the same place and again it turned out to be equally good.

As you enter the place you are welcome by a magnificent setting of large windows, stone finish walls and above all the warm smile of the staff. All tables have been designed with stones and dried leaves from the area and created by an in-house team.Sitting at any table you have breathtaking views. The menu offers a wide variety of mouth-watering dishes. We had the Pot Roast Chicken, Beetroot and Feta salad, Ginger Chicken, Moussaka, Farm Veggies Pizza, Pepperoni Pizza, Alfredo Pasta, Bacon ham caramelised onion Himalayan Gouda sandwich...phew...that was a lot of food. Everything was exquisite. The main course was followed by Pancakes which really thrilled us all. All the preparations were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of home-made food. Some of the ingredients were homegrown too. So, if you are in the area, I highly recommend Cafe In The Woods, a place where flavour inebriates you.Thank you for such a kind review. The place have really good ambiance, seating space and awesome views of the mountains. Food quality and taste was good. We had Masala Tea with Poha and sandwiches. This is the perfect place to have breakfast or evening snacks. Service was good. Having your meal while seeing the view was an amazing experience. Our overall experience was excellent.

The staff is helpful even the sitting area is very pleasant. lake facing. My sister was craving for bannoffe pie and they were out of it, but somehow they specially arranged it for me. i love the place and staff here.hey thank you so much for your wonderful review ..we are always happy to help and wish to do the same in the coming time for our very dear guests ...do try the north house , a boutique addition made to the property for travellers looking for accomodation on their way to Kumaon region. regards once again

We tried the pizza ,and it was quite delectable . The crust was thin and crispy but and the cheese was quite fresh .Go for it and make yourself comfortable in the lawns ,and enjoy the cool breeze .We also tried the non menu ,and it was not disapointing either . The good part is that they serve chapattis .
