You'll only find excellent vegan and vegetarian food here. I'm not a vegan or a vegetarian but I absolutely enjoyed the food. There are a few menu items that aren't as flavourful as others, so be sure to ask if that's your preference.

The best Italian dishes Iâve ever had In Amsterdam! We had a starter with PARMIGIANA and two main courses: GNOCCHI alla Sorrentina and Spaghetti with vongole and bottarga!! DELICIOUS!! Verdiana was so kind with us and Luigi was the coolest Italian chef Iâve ever met! We felt like at home!

The pizzeria is in a students campus, right next to the metro Diemen Zuid. The location is humble but the food is fantastic. For me stillone of the best and authentic pizzas of Amsterdam. You get great food (try also the Cannoli for desert!!) for a good price and people are nice and the place is really italian. If I miss Italy I go there to eat. Fantastici!

We have eaten at Base Pizza a few times over the last couple of years and have always enjoyed the pizzas. On this latest visit we got a takeaway and the pizza was a bit chewy - not as good as usual. Maybe it doesn't travel well and is best eaten in the restaurant?It has not put us off and we will no doubt return next time we're in Weesp.

This is one I specifically asked TripAdvisor to add, as it was an impressive enough meal to make note of. You'll find Porta e Porta less than one block from the church in the main town square, and its pizza, salads, and even its desserts are worth tasting. Excellent choice for inexpensive, good Italian (at least Dutch-style Italian).

Fine restaurant, good quality food, all fresh and handmade. The pizza and the pasta were really good, what you would expect for these kind of prices. I only put 4 stars because of the relative low quantity of pasta, and the lack of understanding and reactivity of the service.As good as the cookers are, the waitress are not up to the task, I am afraid.Over all good restaurant, I would recommend it, but if you are hungry, dodge the pasta, and go for the pizza, or you will be disappointed
