This is one I specifically asked TripAdvisor to add, as it was an impressive enough meal to make note of. You'll find Porta e Porta less than one block from the church in the main town square, and its pizza, salads, and even its desserts are worth tasting. Excellent choice for inexpensive, good Italian (at least Dutch-style Italian).

Fine restaurant, good quality food, all fresh and handmade. The pizza and the pasta were really good, what you would expect for these kind of prices. I only put 4 stars because of the relative low quantity of pasta, and the lack of understanding and reactivity of the service.As good as the cookers are, the waitress are not up to the task, I am afraid.Over all good restaurant, I would recommend it, but if you are hungry, dodge the pasta, and go for the pizza, or you will be disappointed

They don't HAVE to! The word-of-mouth does it's work perfectly here. (So why do I need to compliment them here?)Classic, traditional Italian restaurant with all the dishes you may expect. Quality I find to be excellent and the prices are more than reasonable.The owners cook and serves and are assisted by some of the local teenagers looking for a weekend job and it is friendly - you feel at home instantly.It CAN be a little crowded there on Fridays and Saturdays so ... CALL to make a reservation!

Best pizza I have ever had! Pasta specials are equally delicious. Family friendly and a nice outdoor terrace. We were visiting from Canada stayed in the village for 5 days and ate here for 3 of them. Thanks Cynthia for your wonderful hospitality!

....make sure to visit this secret hideaway! Stuck in the suburbs of Amsterdam this local hangout serves mouthwatering Italian dishes. As they make very clear before you enter the restaurant, they donât serve pizza. Well, you donât miss the pizza for a second. Fresh prepared dishes served with a smile. This family really loves what they do!!Donât forget to make reservations as itâs packed with locals every day!

We had been told about this restaurant by our neighbours love Italian food. It only opened last year and is a really welcome addition to Uihoorn. The service was friendly and efficient, the food is delicious and the wine sublime.We will be coming back.

Visited for a business dinner, staff was nice but untrained and slow.Environment and decoration looked ok but while the chef was cooking, all the smell and smoke was covering the whole restaurant. I think they need to work on their ventilation system.Food was also below expectations.
