The former municipality of Driebergen existed until 1931, when it merged with Rijsenburg, to create the new municipality of Driebergen-Rijsenburg. In later years, due to growth of the villages of Driebergen and Rijsenburg, the villages themselves also merged, to become the single town of Driebergen-Rijsenburg. Since 2006, Driebergen-Rijsenburg is part of the new municipality Utrechtse Heuvelrug.

This certainly is a place to come back to. Situated in a small shopping street La Collina is not the usual Italian style restaurant or pizzeria. We used to come here to buy food. Now we don't even have to wash dishes at home as since last May this place is a restaurant as well. We were six people and took the pasta menu. A pleasant entree was followed by good food for each one of us., accompanied by a good red or white wine. Excellent dessert. No loud music, good service, nearby parking. The menu options are diverse, but they come within two main options, so it is not an la carte restaurant.Check for the opening hours.

Had an excellent crispy pizza here from a wood-fired oven that occupies a major part of the rear of the restaurant. I intended to have a pasta but I found the menu limited so opted for a pizza instead. The pasta of the week is an extra to the menu though. The place is smallish; on an unannounced visit on a weekday we had the last vacant table.

This is my (Dutch) wifeâs favourite restaurant. You need to book ahead to be safe, especially at the weekend. Staff are friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is great. Drinks are not overpriced either Pizzas are very good - but I made the wrong choice with a Siciliana. Anchovies, capers, olives and Dutch cheese is way too much salt.

After looking hard in downtown Zeist, we found Restaurant Dell' Italiaâa restaurant that is combined with a cooking schoolâ¦that explains the kitchen out front and in the open. Food was freshly prepared for your eyes to see.
