Our online reservation information had not reached the restaurant but luckily they had table for us available anyway on the terrace. Service was great and timely and portions were big but lacked on tastiness. My pasta carbonara, missed sauce to add to the taste, big bacon pieces helped a bit though. My partner ordered pasta with spicy sauce, but it was not spicy at all, maybe they forgot to add the chili that was mentioned in the menu.

We stumbled across this stylish Italian, set back surrounded by trees and close to the railway. The place really has a charming feel and lovely atmosphere. The chef personally greeted us and took time to explain the fixed menu. He clearly is passionate about his craft and the proof was in the eating. Delicious... with all the fresh Italian flavours you could wish to savour. The meal was finished off with a glass of homemade limoncello, a must try... Service from the entire team was first class, the food exceptional, the first train flying past was a little disconcerting but adds to the charm and experience. Worth a visit and we will definitely return.

Heerlijke Spareribs maakt Viktor.Lekker pittig. Je eet bijna je vingers er bij op.Maar dan zijn er ook de gamba's in Wijn saus.Ik zeg doen.

The outside of the building looks lovely, a striking design maintained from the early / mid 1800;s with a garden seated area and large windows is very inviting.We arrived early, asked if we could book in early and told that it was not possible as the hotel receptionist didn't start until 12 noon. No biggy, we explored the town which was a lovely little place that should definitely be visited.When we did get too our room, the handle on the door was broken on the inside along with the bathroom door which did not shut as the hinges were hanging out of the frame. We informed reception who thanked us for letting them know. Th interior of the building is very nice, the room, despite the issues was functional, warm and the bed was nice.Food at the restaurant was poor. I ordered Pizza and got a 5 inch flat bread with not great tomato sauce, all around not great. The bruschetta looked like it had been hot with a landslide of tomato's. The fried potato was above average.

Lovely staff/owner and fabulous food that's simple but bursting with great flavours. It's small but when the weather permits it there's a terrace outside with plenty of space. Location is very good, too.
