Bunnik ( pronunciation (help·info)) is a municipality and a village in the Netherlands, in the province of Utrecht. The recorded history of the village dates back nearly 2000 years, when the Romans constructed a fort at Fectio (now Vechten) with a harbour facing the river Rhine, which marked the border of the Roman Empire. The fort developed into a thriving trading centre, which continued to exist after the Romans abandoned the fort in the fourth century. It's cosy and probably the position in the middle of the park makes it a trendy place to go and justify a premium price to eat.Kitchen is very elaborated French/dutch cuisine, wine list is not great and quite expensive value for money.overall not my place

Inspired by the French concept of "Table d'hotes", we serve a different five course menu for our guests, every day. In C'est Ca we always make use of organic meat, MSC certified fish and only purchase fresh seasonal produce for our daily changing dishes.
Starter reached the level of barely acceptable. Wines?? Three Euro supermarket wine on the list for 26 Euro. And then the main course, quail which was still raw on the bone. Finally, without any advanced notification, a 2 Euro supplement for three small pieces of cheap supermarket quality cheese. I know, it is only two Euro, but it is all part of their "surprise menu". Staff showed no understanding for our justified complaints. Many, really many, restaurants in the city that are worth visiting. We will never come back to this one!!!!!!

have Enjoyed a great evening with the love of my life. The staff is extremely friendly and this place is unique. The 6 course menu Michelin Star level!Although the start was slowly and delayed caused by some big groups arriving late we had a great culinary experience. One tip; do something for your wardrobes, coats are hanging on floor in Toilet area

When we walked in we thought it looked nice but not outstanding, yet the food was just awesome and creative. The service was some of the best we have ever had and the wine selections were right on.The food was extraordinary and made it a very good experience.Even though the setting was not overwhelming the food and service more than compensated for it.The only downer was dessert which was all green and just not that appetizing.Just so sad for a meal where everything else was awesome. The fish they served was incredible with just the right seasoning and flavor.Left very satisfied!

Just went here for a quick bite and short business discussion.Ate their beef carpaccio nicely flavoured with herbs and balsamic vinegar. Do not worry for the rest as the carpaccio is simply so good that you do not want to eat anything else.

Went here for dinner with a long tine friend. I love the open bakery bsrn ambiance and the creative menu. I had veal cooked to perfection on hazelnutmash and sweet peas. Delicious. And their chocolate varia dessert was to die for!The tables are a bit too small and placed too close to each other, so not a lot of privacy. Service was very good though.

We happened to stumble upon this restaurant but as soon as we saw the simple menu of Dutch inspired dishes we knew we had to go. The wait staff were lovely. And the food was delicious. And reasonably priced for a nice meal out.

We had lunch the other day in this delightful pancake restaurant located into a beautiful forest park near to Utrecht , in Bunnik. From the moment you enter, you get cheerful welcomed by the staff. Found a great table on the water side, so romantic and so gorgeous. Menu is full of pancake delicacies as well a good selection of sandwiches, meal salads and others. We opted for a combination pancake one side sweet with apple and cinnamon and on the side savoury with ham and cheese. Awesome. Another pancake is the giant of Rhijnauwen, full of bacon, snaps, onions, mushrooms, paprika and others. So good. Had a couple of drinks. Woow what good time spent as food is delicious, super service and fair prices. Highly recommended. We will return.
