The room was nice except for the stale smoke smell. Said it was a non-smoking room but it definitely has been smoked in a lot in the past. Also did not have a hair dryer in the room, and only decaf coffee for the in room coffee machine. Beds were very comfortable. Water was nice and hot in the shower.

Charming B&B in Utica, NY

I really enjoyed my brief stay at the Rosemont Inn. The Lavender Room was so inviting. Outgoing hostess Venus gave me a detailed tour and invited me to enjoy free drinks, tea and coffee as well as lounge in the beautiful parlor. Unfortunately I needed to unwind and get to bed early and was a late arrival. There was a very comfy bed and pillows and a lovely robe that I used after a shower in the pretty bathroom with deluxe shower with two shower heads. Spoiled! The room was very spacious and inviting! In the morning, Rita made me a delicious breakfast burrito steaming hot out of the oven and wrapped in foil plus a big bran and blueberry muffin that I ate later. The freshly ground coffee was superb. I also partook of the individually packaged shortbread, filled my water bottles and used ice to keep the water cold all day. The common mini fridge allowed me to keep a sandwich and drinks cool for the next day. There was a little glitch with the tv that was ultimately solved due to the heavy power outlet pulling the cord out of the wall outlet. Hope that will be fixed for the next visitors. I would love to return and get a chance to eat the full breakfast! … Or check out another of the great rooms. Didn’t have a chance to explore the vicinity as I had a two-day, 20-hour course to attend at Mohawk Valley Community College. Another time perhaps!

Used to be the hotel Utica, but Hilton took it over. Our room was clean and comfortable, but I wish they kept more of the old grandeur instead of the new…old…it felt too modernized for an old beautiful building. Breakfast wasn’t included which was sad. But we did pay for a jacuzzi in every room ? the lobby of the building and second floor looking down was our favorite part of the space.

Stayed at Hampton Inn in Utica and wish we had not! Morning staff were rude to me and my children and is absolutely NOT dog friendly. Also my older dog slept and my younger whined for 7 minutes when I left for dog food and GPS said trip took 6minutes I got back in 7minutes but the rude clerk called and spoke in a disrespectful manner to complain..noone was in the hotel because there was a big noisy group (who were not spoken to the night before cz they were loud late) who had a tournament and they all left. I was so annoyed I fed my dogs elsewhere, stayed out all day, left, andchecked out next morning to avoid dealing with the terrible customer service again

I seen the night here with my family while passing through and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the hotel staff was very attentive. The breakfast in the morning was delish! I know its a small thing but I loved that there were 2 waffle makers so we didn't have to wait forever for waffles (my kids favorites!). The on duty manager Jennifer was so welcoming and made sure that we were taken care of. I highly recommend!

Interesting place

I arrived to meet a long lady at te front desk that was rude, I had booked a king to ensure my scooter could do a turn around in room, she informed that the special needs room had a lot of turning space. Got to room the door spring was so strong I could hardly get in. And no space to turn. Well ths was only the start, door close so had the scooter got checked and it started to go over. The room was well set up for me, but all hanging space was set for wheelchair or short person. All my dresses dragged on the floor. Time to go downstairs getting scooter in the second elevator was difficult, and closed quickly. The lobby and dining area was fine it was clean and tidy just as my room. The dining room staff were friendly. Over all a fair place
