Breakfast or lunch I read is fantastic, indeed it was.Had the Scandinavian weinerschnitzel $15.59. Their version appeared to be ground beef rather than pounded beef but nevertheless still very tasty especially with the lemon slices and capers. Fingerling potatoes and asparagus in a delicious lingoberries gravy, I practically licked the plate clean. That's after the swedish meatballs soup and a crunchy onion roll. And seeing that they have many items that were baked on premise, I just can't resist trying their poopy seed cream cheese pastry and the raspberry marzipan roll. Out of this world fabulous.Service was attentive and friendly. All these in an relaxed bistro environment with a lovely outdoor garden eating area as well.

Ate here early on a Saturday morning. No wait but the restaurant quickly filled up. We both had skillets and the servings were large. Coffee was very strong and plentiful. Way too much food but great leftovers. Reasonably priced

This is a friend favorite. Nestled in a quaint neighboorhood, this cafe is really tasty. Not too big, so get there early if you want a seat. They can accommodate small to medium sized parties comfortably. The staff is always friendly!. The food is great. Try the lemon pancakes, you will love them. If your hungry get the LAZY DELUXEFried chicken breast, bacon, cheddar, and a fried egg, topped with house gravy on a biscuit served with hash browns....AWESOME!! I'll be back!

We had only breakfast dishes and they were very good and simple; not simple like lacking flavor, but simple in the fact that they were your regular burritos, french toast and eggs; so you will not find anything special here, the burger looked really good though. The attention was good, and the price was very cheap.Only complaint is the wait time, the place is very busy so we waited ~45 minutes to be seated. We were in no rush so we decided to wait, was it worth it? Maybe not.

Just moved to Utah and was told to try this cute little restaurant. We fell in love at first bite! The ambiance is quaint and friendly. The peppy energetic servers are always a breath of fresh air. We ordered Huevos Rancheros, Eggs Benedict, waffles and French toast with a side of fries.Everything was perfect and was delivered to the table promptly. The food was delicious and we are currently addicted to this charming little restaurant! Our one complaint was the coffee. Millcreek cafe needs a better espresso maker- currently their late tastes like filtered coffee with milk- they can do better!

Several visits to this newish restaurant in Holladay, and each has been very strong in food and service. The "fusion" concept is well done. Thai influences are dominant, but other asian influences make notable appearances. Their Pho is good. Entrees, particularly their specialities, are excellent. They do everything "in house"...including desserts. But I have never had enough room after working through one of their generous entrees to handle a dessert.

Sunday morning was busy, but we got there early enough that we didn't have to wait. Later on, that would not be the case! This is a small place in a small shopping center, but it's one of those places that you can tell everyone in the neighborhood frequents. The menu was so vast you'd have to return many times to sample the basics. The prices are typical for this type of restaurant. We enjoyed our breakfast and will return; if we lived here, we'd be regulars!

We throughly enjoyed every item we ordered at Roots Cafe, particularly the Dirt Veggie Burger, but the restaurant is so loud, the it was difficult to have any dinner conversation. The business model of the restaurant is admirable, with sustainable food practices, humanly raise meats and support of local farmers. It is the type of restaurant we would came back to again and again. We would give the food here 5 out of 5, but the noise was a major takeaway from the experience, since we do enjoy sharing conversation with our meals.

The crepes were okay, but not fabulous. The side of pancakes and gardener omelet were delicious though, and of course we had to get the real maple syrup for the pancakes! Service from Mia was quick, and efficient. Even though it was a busy breakfast time we were seated quickly. We will definitely be back!
