This was our first visit to a Panda Express and we werenât disappointed with the meal we were served. I elected for a small serve of sesame chicken with fried rice, and my husband chose a spicy beef dish with Asian vegetables. Although it was a fast food outlet, the quality of the meals were excellent and very tasty, and at a later stage during our tour, we felt confident of dining at another outlet from the same chain.

This unassuming little venue in downtown Provo, Utah won't overwhelm you with ambiance, decor, a chef-inspired menu, or anything truly memorable. You will experience a modestly-priced traditional menu, generous portions, and attentive service. We started with a Po-Po Platter, a variety of Chinese appetizers with dipping sauces served on a wooden lazy-susan featuring about six or seven samplers of shrimp, beef, egg rolls, spare ribs and more, piping hot from the kitchen, with a little flaming grill on top for a re-heat if needed. Each selection was tasty -- I liked some more than others -- and it was fun to share each selection and compare notes with my lovely companion. Since we intended for the Po-Po to be a major part of our meal, we shared only one other platter, Cashew Shrimp, which was quite good, and a generous plate of ham-fried rice which featured plentiful chunks of ham. This area is not known for great Chinese food. That's a well-deserved and true observation. But, if you like good Chinese at fair prices, and don't mind the plain surroundings, I recommend giving China Garden in Provo a chance.

I have eaten here many times over the years. It is one of my favorite places for orange chicken. All of their items are excellent and tasty. You won't leave hungry. The price is reasonable and the service is always excellent. If you are looking for a good, clean Chinese Buffet this is a good place to go.

Ordered a party pack for a large work group. I did have to wait for the order to be completed. However it was worth the wait. Peppered chicken a nice surprise... sampled a little of everything - orange chicken beef and broccoli as well as the noodles, fried rice and egg rolls. Will most definitely be back and eat there again.

Stopped in at Koi Express in Provo to get a bite to eat. Had one of their ramen bowls and it was delicious. Perfect amount of broth, noodles and toppings. The staff are super friendly and will be glad to help you with any questions, they talked to the group of guys that ordered after me for about 10 minutes going over all of their questions and requests. I'm going to have to check out their wraps next!

It's kind of a running joke when we ask, "Should we eat at the dumpling place?" That's because we've been into the restaurant four times and we've never eaten there. We'd REALLY like to have the dumplings offered on the menu but THEY ARE NEVER MAKING DUMPLINGS! Three times we've gone in and asked about dumplings and were told - "we're not making dumplings today." The other night we went in and lo and behold, the woman said, "yes, we have dumplings." Well, they had one kind of dumplings, the small ones. The only other thing on the menu they were serving was the hot pot meals. So, we could have eaten several orders of JUST small dumplings or the hot pot meals, which we aren't interested in. There were no noodle dishes, no steamed buns, no soups, zip. We had been given peanuts and shredded carrots as appetizers. The peanuts were delicious. That's my review - of the peanuts. When the woman said they had nothing other than the one kind of dumplings and the Hot Pots, we told her we wanted to leave and she said ok. We will not go back!

Location at The Shops at Riverwoods (an open air shopping mall) is nice. Inside decor cool for Chinese restaurant. We ordered vegetarian Oriental Eggplant and Changsa Chicken. Both suffered from heavily seasoned brown sauce (salt, soy sauce, sugar, MSG?). Too salty and sweet.Spiciness on chicken almost undetectable.Couple notable things:Dinner dish size were smallish.Fortune cookie was chocolate dipped which was nice.Service was alright. And price fair.
