Reviews on Southwestern food in Cedar City, Utah, United States. Just a couple of hours north of Las Vegas lies an oasis called Cedar City. Home to Southern Utah University, and close to a number of scenic national parks, this charming and compact city offers visitors a great home base for exploring the area. Golf, skiing, biking and other outdoor recreational activities abound. In the summer, mountain bikers flock to the Brian Head Peak Activity Center, for challenging runs and spectacular scenery. We chose to eat at Brody's Mexican Restaurant on our first night in Cedar City because we like Mexican food, it had good reviews and was located adjacent to our hotel. Average service, it's a small restaurant and they had several large groups on the night we were there. While the food tasted pretty good, they definitely used a lot of onions in preparing what we ordered. Unfortunately, we realized afterwards it might not have been our best choice. Not a good overall experience.

Stopped here for lunch with friends and were definitely pleased. Itâs a small, family run place that had excellent service and great food. Portions are big and prices are reasonable. We had enchiladas, burritos and salad. All of us were very happy and weâll definitely return.

Stopped here on our way south. Staff were friendly, food good, fast service. We both had the Caribbean salad, fresh ingredients, good dressing, very enjoyable. Will eat here again.
