So anytime you say "all-you-can-eat" you kind of question quality of food. With that in mind, it's not bad. The food was plentiful, taste pretty fresh, and gave us an opportunity to try more things that we probably would have normally because it's usually too expensive to have more than 1 or 2 rolls. At $14 per person we had as much sushi as we could eat. The service and atmosphere were great.'it takes time to make, so plan ahead for a little extra relax time.
Sadly, the food I ordered wasn't tasty. Newly remodeled and the it looks great but I thought it was expensive. I ordered Niku Udon, an easy dish. The serving size was great but the soup honestly had no flavor, no seasoning. I had to hunt for salt and added a lot of soy to give it some taste. The veggies were fresh but not cooked, the noodles weren't done either. They just threw everything in scalding watered down broth. I let it sit for a while and the veggies softened up and the noodles warmed through. But $11 for tasteless soup is too much. Too many other good options in AF to go back.

I asked Siri for "best restaurants near me" and she gave me Asahi Sushi Bar even though I live in east Provo on the bench. We decided to try it out (not our normal practice for sushi) so we drove the 5 miles to this delightful place. The owner personally served us and lead us through the process of choosing a variety of great appetizers and rolls. Oh my! We were very impressed and food was very fresh and delicious. I am a bit of a sushi snob and it is not easy to please my sushi roll palate. This was outstanding and the tempura appetizers were among the best I have ever eaten. The tempura was so light and flavorful that I could have been satisfied with filling up on the tempura vegetables. Don't drive far for great sushi (unless you live far from Orem). This is right by Macey's around the corner on State Street and will fill your sushi spot.
