Malt Shop

We ate at the Malt Shop on a recent trip to Ephraim. It's a cute little diner filled with Coke decor. We had corn dogs, fries, onion rings, burgers, and shakes. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was quick (it wasn't busy). We'll definitely eat here again the next time we're in the area.

Dirk's Farmhouse Restaurant

We went to Dick’s farm house this past weekend because we were in Manti and they were the only restaurant open and available at the time. When we came in we could see that they were moderately busy but they immediately sat us at a table at the very far end of their banquet room. We thought this was a bit odd due to the fact there were several tables much closer to the front. After being sat down it was 17 minutes before we finally got up and my son went and ask them if they had forgotten about us, and they had. While we were waiting they sat to other tables, took their drink orders, delivered their drinks, and we’re back to take their entrée requests before we finally decided to take matters into our own hands. Even after my son reminded them that they had forgot about us it was still another eight minutes before our waiter came and took our drink orders. He was very apologetic and said that he was not told that we were his table, nonetheless the hostesses upfront should’ve notified somebody. Or drinks did eventually arrive and the food was eventually ordered, well over 30 minutes since we sat down. The food was good, and if I had to rate the restaurant on that alone I would be willing to say give them a try. But due to the nature of the service and the attitude of the hostess upfront I feel that we will try to go any place other than the farmhouse next time for dinner. I will not waste anybody’s time giving a complete review of the food just that it was good, if you are patient, very very patient.

Miller's Drive Thru & Bakery

We walked over on a cool spring morning, and were rewarded by the best apple fritters ever, freshly made and warm, chock full of apples and cinnamon, and properly gooey inside. The other donuts were also good, and the milk cold. Wonderful treat.
