Ústí nad Labem (Czech pronunciation: [ˈuːsciː ˈnad labɛm] ( listen)), formerly known by its German name Aussig, is the 7th-most populous city of the Czech Republic. It is the capital of its eponymous region and district. Ústí is situated in a mountainous district at the confluence of the Bílina and Elbe rivers. It is a major industrial center and, besides being an active river port, is an important railway junction.

Retro's has a quite good reputation in the city, however many visitors don't have comparison with a quality steak house. I would better recommend to go to the Replay Mexican Restaurant in Usti or Bulldog in Teplice. Retro's offers anyway a nice portion of meet for a good price, but the experience is not so attractive to visit it again.

Following a late return to Usti nad Labem, with the 4* hotel restaurant closed, this Mexican restaurant in the Town Centre was sampled.
After a pleasant welcome, and being shown promptly to a waiting well laid out table, an electronic tablet menu was provided. This had pictures of each meal option along with an English description.
The starter [Entrada] selected was Taquitos Con Queso [Baked Tortilla, Cheese, House Salsa]. This was followed by the main course [Platos Tipico] Arroz con Pollo.
All this was washed down with some pleasant Merlot wine.
The meals were presented nice and hot, but had not been laced with the spicy sauces before presentation, so you were left to add these to you taste - a much more civilised approach that in some other restaurants...

This is a restaurant with hotel on the top of a rocky hill overlooking the city of Usti Nad Labem.
The building feature traditional czech architecture and the main restaurant roof is finely decorated with very nice multi-colored glass windows.
I was there for a business dinner, food was very good and I was surprised by the very reasonable prices.
Surely recommended!

It's probably one of the most popular restaurants in Usti, both among the locals and visitors. It offers mainly traditional Czech cuisine (greasy meat, heavy sauces, dumplings etc.), but you can also find some lighter (fish, grilled vegetables) and meat-free (traditional fried cheese) options.
The place is fairly cheap (especially if you come from the West) and it has got a zone for non-smokers and a garden in spring and summer.
As for minuses - some of the stuff are slow and grumpy - most of the regulars, including myself, have some bad memories connected with the waiters. But it's still one of the most recommendable restaurants in Usti nad Labem.

This restaurant is fine, non smoking place, the food is good but very expensive. Veal schnitzel with mashed potatoes more than 200 CZK and its nothing special. The staff is not so friendly. We have been there with 18 students and the staff was not helpful. Was quite arrogant. Beer is more than 35 CZK. You can find better places here.

There is not only italian restaurant but also a mexican one which we visited. The food was very good and tasty, wide variety of different meals. The price matches the quality of the food. Good and attentive service.... One of the best restaurant in the city.
It is difficult to get there a table during lunch / diner time without previous booking

The owners, a couple, are working there and are very active and kind. We love them. Other guys are an average-paid staff w/o any responsibility for your satisfaction. After an order, you wait a long time to get an average-range food. I love to share the photos of so called "mexican food" with real guys from Mexico: there is no match, rather a trial to look like an international meal made from local sources. If visiting in the noon, you will be there alone.

Tried local beer and one tartare. Some colleagues complained because the supposed to be spicy food was not spicy at all. However it's worth to spend a visit. Good service, making some mistakes but friendly and fun.

We visited on a Wednesday evening, the restaurant was clean and tidy, we had our drinks order taken swiftly, this gave us time to ponder the menu, not the most extensive compared to the restaurants i visit in the UK, We ordered poppadoms, main courses, rice and naans. The poppadoms arrived quickly, minus any chutney or onions etc, the mains followed, i ordered the Madras which was good, the Naan which i ordered was filled with both meat and potatoes, not something i had eaten before nevertheless it was really nice . When visit Usti again i will visit, just add some condiments to the poppadoms would make it nicer.
