The hotel is great. All facilities work perfectly well. Rooms are modern and large. Bathrooms are super clean y cozy. The hotel is very large so you have plenty of spaces to be at, dinning room, living room, playroom, pool, etc. It is located a few blocks from main uspallata. Great and largo outdoor park. The only problem was the people working there. Waiters were very unattentive. The meal services were 1 hour delayed every time. A lot of waiting for someone to attend our table. we were there with our babygirl and many times we asked for them to bring food quicker as she was hungry, but they couldnt care less. employees talked back at us in a very rude manner when asked something.

This hotel was recommended to us after a previous booking fell through. It is 20+kms from Uspallata, and does not provide transport, so we relied on taxis, which although reliable became quite expensive. Independent transport is recommended. It was purpose-built on a long highway, so is a good base for cycling and walking in summer and skiing and other snow sports in winter. The town has good adventure tourism, such as water rafting and horse-riding (we were there in summer). The hotel is uniquely decorated with Argentinian and other Sth American artifacts; the interior is clean, but the outside is very run down and seemingly not maintained, including a pool with green water.....! Breakfast is basic with no gluten free options. Dinner and wines are available but are expensive. The staff were friendly but limited help with tours.

We travelled from Villavicencio to Uspallata throught the old Road (camino de las caracolas). It was a delightful but stressful journey. Getting to INCA Roca was the best thing that happened, since we got into a peaceful and beautiful place in The desert but 4 minutes from town. The host, ARIEL and his girlfriend were very kind. They gave as all the information needed and offerd us to stay at the pool to relax after such a trip. The cabin was quite confortable and very well decorated, I felt at home. The bathroom was very clean and with an incredible hot water. The Kitchen was fully equipped. Plenty of ammenities. We slept in a confortable bed and serene environment. The cabin had Directv and WiFi.

This was a wonderful place to stay for a couple of nights as we wanted to visit Aconcagua Park. The cabin was quaint with nice lighting, a gas heater to keep us warm and a comfortable bed. There was a kitchenette too. The view of the mountains and night sky were wonderful. Silvi was so kind and helpful and took especially good care of us. My partner is vegetarian and so she prepared delicious Andean vegetarian meals for us both nights, with good wine and a nice starter plate of olives, cheese and crackers, a lovely touch. I would highly recommend Mamuna as part of your mountain adventure.

Cabanas Tierra Huarpe es located in a valley, sorrounded of alamo's trees, where you can find de quietly of the nature. From there, you can have an excellent view of the Cordillera de los Andes. Is the ideal place for peace and relax. Every season is different in Uspallata. Come and discover it by yourself! We are always waiting to make your stay comfortable and full of friendship!
Loved our stay here! Beautiful location in cool grove of alamos (poplars). A welcome retreat when the viento zonda/ viento sur (hot wind with dust devils) was blowing in town just 3 km away. Amazing views of the Andes, proximity to Tunduqueral pre-Inca indigenous site with rock art, and access to nature preserve with hundreds of guanacos (wild llama-like creatures on the high-elevation scrublands) and even the site of Charles Darwin’s exploration of petrified aracuaria forests! All in the shadow of Aconcagua (highest peak in the Andes, in fact anywhere in the western hemisphere or anywhere outside the Himalayas!!)

We just wanted a place to finish our collected leftover food and prepare to cross the border back to Chile (with no fruit or other food to upset the inspectors) after our week in the Mendoza area. Accommodation is over-priced in this area, and La Comarca seems typical. It's easy to find, but a dusty work in progress, with only 3 cabins in rentable condition so far. There is not a patch of green anywhere on the property, and dust permeates the cabins. The bed is oood, but too small. We slept well in a very quiet location. The owner, Bruno, seems to have insufficient experience in the hotel business. He wasted money on toiletries branded with the hotel name, but does not supply enough towels (only two bath towels and one hand towel for a couple). There is no furniture for relaxing: only hard chairs around the dining table. It's nice to be in the open surrounded by mountain views, but the only way to enjoy the view from the dining area was to leave the door open. One blessing was that we could park right at the door of the cabin, making it easy to unload and reload.

Valley of Uspallata – Mendoza High MountainLocated in the middle of the Andes, just 110 km from the city of Mendoza and on the route that takes you to Chile, you will find a perfect place to make a stop along your journey, especially after big cities. This mountain village with its own microclimate, offers you a great variety of outdoor activities likes horseback rides, treks, mountain biking, rafting and a lot more… also you can access to the main attraction of the Andes, like the Aconcagua Park, Puente del Inca and the Cristo Redentor, a monument that resembles the peace between the two countries and is at 4200 meters high. Also if you are planning to keep on travelling to Chile, you may continue without going back to Mendoza, since you can take buses from the hostel.Uspallata is one of the best option in the Andes, so do not miss this area… you will not forget the views that it has to offer. If you like to visit this area you are more than welcome to stay at our Hosteria Uspallata
We booked a double room, the frame of bed was completely broken, there were cockroaches running around. The manager was not surprised and did not really care at all. In the end we ended up in a dorm room and did not get any money back. The atmosphere was not good either, we changed the hostel the next morning.
