The Blue Wing was opened in 2005 on the site of a well known local saloon of that name that operated from the 1880s until the 1920s. It is separated by a relaxing garden from the fully restored Tallman Hotel. A full bar and seating inside is complimented by seating in the garden and on a heated veranda. Quality food and drink is served in a relaxing atmosphere at lunch and dinner seven days a week. Live music is performed at Sunday Brunch, Sunday Supper, Monday Night Blues and for the special $20 Tuesdays.
Blue Wing is a casual yet upscale restaurant affiliated with the Tallman Hotel next door. The food is comfort style made with high quality ingredients. Burgers are a best bet and they offer beef or buffalo. The menu could use some updating, imo and I...MoreMany thanks for your positive review of the Blue Wing. Please come back. Bernie

My uncle brought me here alot when I was a teenager and now I'm bringing my daughter. It's a down home feel where you feel welcome. I would rather go there for breakfast than the casino that serves a cheaper breakfast. They care about you and want you to come back. Your not just a number like you are at the casino. Try it you will be happy you did.

We had lunch here, and the food was average, but it was hard to enjoy anything with the heat. I think the a/c may have been out, but seriously, even the ice in the glasses didn't stay! Also, the upholstery on booths is torn and the whole place looks a little tired. Good, friendly service, though.

Our clinic had an early holiday dinner that included family members and friends. The service was excellent. Very attentive staff. The food was served on time, it was warm and presented well on the plate. Everyone from our party agreed that it was the nicest group dinner we've done in the last 6 years. We will continue to have our future holiday dinner with Wild Creek Restaurant. Thanks!!

lovely place to stop for a break after a long drive! The coffee here is good. Cappuccinos especially, you'll get asked wet or dry! Good homemade cakes too. Friendly service. A couple of small tables to sit if you wish.

Oh my god, the Mango Beef! Sooo Good!! I say Asian rather than Chinese, as I detect some Vietnamese and Thai influences, as well. There is a "spicy hot and sour soup" that has a pineapple base and reminds me of one that I have had in a Vietnamese restaurant, except this is the BEST, ever! Some of the best Asian cuisine, and I'm from the Bay Area and pickey!
Interestingly, the theme decor is nautical, with ship models and other boat themes obviously left from a previous incarnation. But it has its charm. The food here is great! Try especially the Mango Beef, which is hot an spicy and amazingly flavorful, with slices of sweet mango featured as a perfect complement to the beef We noticed a lot of take-out traffic, so if you feel like eating wherever you are staying, I recommend checking into that option! Very reasonably priced, too..

The COMBO was great - a good combination of flavors.
The meat on our all meat pizza was not drained of all of the grease. It made the pizza greasy, oily, soggy and nasty.
I'd go back, but would avoid the all meat pizza.
Overall okay for an independent pizza joint. Many locals hanging out there.

We had a family visit here. The food was good. The pancakes were light and fluffy and the bacon flavorful. The French toast was little bland. The waitress was Ok but her comments were boarding on rude. Not sure what to make of her attitude. This was my second time here. The first was a few years ago.

Bright and cheerful setting on Upper Lake's Main Street. Friendly staff and delicious Mexican food. I left my expensive camera and they kept it secure until I returned very relieved to find it!

I had breakfast with a friend. I had 2 fried eggs bacon hash browns + toast & coffee, my friend had the same but no bacon or coffee total only 18.82. place was clean people were nice eggs were cooked right but everything was cooked in oil, grease, or butter not sure it was like it was soaked in oil's, it tasted good but I needed to walk for about 2 miles after to make sure my artery's did not stop up, the food had great flavor but the oil and butter were just way to much. I saw some other plates with burgers on them and they looked very good want to go back & try there lunch plates my feeling they do better with lunch's and dinner's I will eat there again maybe not for breakfast.
