In our cozy restaurant you will be able to find quality burgers, regional cuisine, a wide variety of Slovenian craft beers and delicious desserts.
Guided by the recommendations from the Tripadvisor, we went out to dinner at the Foksner. Since we worship burgers, it was a win-win situation for us. That's what we at least thought. First thing we noticed when we walked into the bar was a small interior equipped with old furniture, seating area is very narrow and somehow uncomfortable with very small tables. And service is very slow. But that's the least of their problems. When we were served the burgers we ordered (two normal ones, one named after the house and one made of chicken), we experienced the biggest shock. The meat stinks. All the meat. Given that the Bohinj area delighted us that day, we did not want to spoil the day with complaints and possible quarrels. But that disgusting experience cost us 70 euros. My advice: avoid at all costs.

The food is affordable and tasty enough to accompany some (very cheap and delicious) beers. We spent nearly two hours just taking in the view and enjoying a drink - perfect!

Small mobile bar located on the river bank with beautiful river view. Serves coffe, cold drinks, frozen yogurt, ice cream and sandwiches. Perfect place to swim in the river Sava. Free parking.
This place has excellent frozen yoghurt! The coffee is perfect too! But make sure to bring swimming clothes and water shoes in summer, because when you walk a bit down to the river you will find amazing swimming spot, where you can spend half a day easily!

We recently visited this place, also known as âPlaninski dom Savicaâ and we were really disappointed. Very rude waiter who sighed when we asked for more time to choose from the menu (we literally hadnât sat down yet!!!!!) He seemed fine to people speaking Slovenian but very rude to English speaking people which is crazy seen as it is such a tourist spot. After such a rude interaction ordering our drinks, I was furious when I went to pay and he charged me for two glasses of wine when I had only ordered one. He told me that one glass is very small and that he poured in two. I explained that I had only ordered one but he didnât care! He muttered under his breath. No please/ thank you during any interaction. Shocking service in an absolutely beautiful place. Everyone we have met in Slovenia so far has been more than nice, friendly and always accommodating. This man was just rude and a chancer when he saw tourists around! Stay clear!!!
