Just been there for the first time in 2019 and this place is really a true culinary experience. They catch some of their fish directly from the lake. My wife loves the fish, I am a schnitzel guy and it is also outstanding. You can actually hear when they prepare the meat as each schnitzel is made fresh from start. Do not forget to have desert there as most of them are made on the premises by either the chef or the grandmother. What a fantastic place. Do not forget to make a reservation

Have been in NuÃdorf for 5 days just to enjoy the beautiful landscape and great routes for mountain bikes, we found out just nearby our Hotel a great place named Peppoâs which is a great restaurant and nice bar to be sitting outside drinking a good beer and great selection of white and red wines , I recommend âfilet steakâ which is the tasty meat I ever tasted , good job Mr. Peppoâs

The area is perfect for hiking and the view on the Attersee is marvellous. The hut is in a good condition, well kept and clean, but there are no showers (which is normal for huts in the Alps). The younger personnel was very friendly so that I would have given 5/5 points. However the old host was sometimes a bit rude and if we were not diplomatic he would have started an argument over political opinions. Also the size of the meals was too small for the price. Since I enjoyed my hiking trip I will probably sooner or later visit this place again.

The Hotel-Restaurant Bachtaverne provides an excellent restaurant with regional specialities and a romantic bed and breakfast pension. As a special you'll find an in-house diving base too, offering courses and equipment for diving into the lake Attersee.
Great Austrian tavern with lots of wood and game heads mounted on the walls. The waitress was very helpful though she spoke little English. There are booths in the bar area and a large dining room area. Traditional Austrian dishes (Wiener schnitzel and goulash), delicious venison dishes and savory barbecue specialties. We ordered Zanderfilet and Kräuter-Cordon-Bleu and both was excellent. Will be coming back.

We drove along the shores of Salzkammergut as a way to escape the overcrowded Salzburg of the Festival's days. The area is really wonderful offering stupendous water colours of the lakes . From the shore , following a steep , narrow, winding uphill road we arrived to Druckerhof . The tables in the restaurant's garden offer an incomparable view of the whole area , its lakes and the mountain slopes opposimg it.The menu includes mainly local cuisine , perhaps somehow restrictive but the meaals were tasty , well prepared.

We were so impressed with this restaurant that we used it three times. There was seating outside and inside, but we sat outside every time. The food is truly Austrian and really affordable. We also made use of the daily special menu which includes a soup and sometimes a salad. The service was personal and good. It can be really recommended for good wholesome food. Portions were generous.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch here recently: a beautifully-presented salad and a self-indulgent Gustav Mahler Sundae, served with a smile. In fact Mahler fans will want to go to Reception to borrow the key to the lakeside hut to see where he composed his Second and Third Symphonies. Highly recommended.

We stopped here on our first evening in Steinbach, but only had a light snack since we had already eaten. The cheese plate we ordered was nicely varied, and had interesting garnishes. The bread served with it was homemade and delicious. It was fairly crowded in the garden, and the tables are large, so it is common to sit at a table with other people. Fortunately the two women at our table were friendly. Judging by what other guests were eating, the food looked very good. The only negative point for us is that we would have preferred to drink wine with our snack, but they serve only "Most" (types of fresh fruit juice).

Excellent Restaurant in the city centre of Ebensee with austrian up to international kitchen. Big variety of national wines, friendly staff and traditional up to modern furniture. Big garden restaurant under old threes invites to stay from dusk till dawn.
Cosy interior, very friendly and helpful staff (dealing well with my poor german), very good food for quite acceptable price. The service was excellent, food and drinks were served within very short time. Credit cards are accepted. If I'd visit Ebensee again, I will definitely come back again.Dear Guest!Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review, we are very glad that you made such a good experience in our restaurant as you wrote. We will be glad to welcome you again and wish you a happy easter!Kind regardsAndreas Leitner, Owner
