Grosvenor Villa is a Grade II listed private Georgian home, located 1.1 miles from the city centre on the London road in Bath. We have three double bedrooms, one with En Suite and two with each separate private bathroom. Our aim is to make your stay as comfortable as possible in our home.
My wife and I were fortunate enough to stay at Grosvenor Villa in Bath for two nights. One is instantly struck by the incredible architecture of the building, and the interior is strikingly beautiful. The bedroom could not have been more comfortable, with the luxury of a super king sized bed. The vista from the bedroom window affords the most stunning view of the city, which is a mere gentle stroll from the villa. The breakfast was perfect for our needs, and one couldn't wish to dine in more refined surroundings - it really makes for the most idealic start to the day. Richard was a wonderfully charismatic host, and we couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity to share his most resplendent of homes, if only for a short while. We very much look forward to returning.

My wife and I travelled by train to Paignton on the 16/10/2021 for a Saturday night overnite stay. We arrived in Paignton early Saturday morning about 10.30 and went straight to the sea front Commodore accommodation. As expected the room wasn't ready (14.00 advised) but we left the overnite bag with the owner , who greeted us very friendly. Agreed to take our bag to the room for us when ready and gave us the door security key fob which opens everything including outside door and room. With the sun shining we set of to catch the bus to Brixham, which are often and £5.00 day ticket each was great value. We had a great day in Brixham arriving back in Paignton about 20.00 and finally retired to bed about 22.00. On entering the room we found it well presented and our bag waiting and well stocked with toiletries and very nice sea view room from the Sir Francis Drake room. There is commodities available for breakfast in a shared kitchen area all very clean and well presented. However we decided to go to the Weatherspoons for breakfast which is 10 minutes slow walk away.

I feel bad, but this is an honest review. We arrived to some confusion about which cottage we had booked, and very kindly they ended up offering us the farmhouse instead of twinkles as it wasn’t suitable for us. That part was great. But unfortunately the rest left me very disappointed. The pictures on here are extremely misleading, we paid the price because we expected an interactive experience with lots of play and animals for our toddler, the reality is you arrive to an empty farm with nobody to greet you and we saw nobody the entire time we were there. We came on a weekend and it would seem nobody works there on the weekend, which for a holiday place is extremely odd as surely many people visit over weekends? There was no ‘legendary tractor rides’ no feeding of animals no pony rides, just a pretty landscape a coupe of chickens, two goats, and some jumpy unfriendly Guinea pigs. We make the best of everything and still had a nice time but if you are expecting lots of interaction and animals you will be sorely disappointed. We enjoyed the bbq in our garden and my daughter liked the trampoline. The house was lovely and clean, I think a few tweaks are needed to bring this place up to expectations for many, to make it worth the large price paid.

This was our third visit to the Suffolk Escape (we rarely visit anywhere twice, let alone 3 times!) and my mum and dad joined us for the first time. As usual we had a wonderful time and my parents were blown away by the lodge and the location. Everything in and outside the lodge was just perfect - comfortable, very clean and of an extremely high quality. And as usual, I wanted to bring the bed home with me! A fantastic break for us all - it won’t be our last!

We had a 3 night break away and are so pleased with our choice of places to stay. Couldn't have picked anywhere else that provided such beautiful quiet surroundings. Clean and comfortable with everything you could possible think of available. Sarah was very helpful and on 2 nights we ate in and ordered the meals which were brought to us - they were very tasty and plentiful and highly recommended. We loved the use of the pool and sauna and hope to book again next year if not sooner.

Willow Pastures Country Park is an exciting, exclusive development close to the tranquil Yorkshire village of Skirlaugh. This collection of luxurious holiday homes consists of 57 properties designed to make the most of their idyllic setting. Blending seamlessly into their surroundings they offer a peaceful escape from everyday life.
The lodges a beautiful with a garden deck and hot tub. The grounds are well kept and once all the plots have lodges, they will still be quite private as the decks seem to alternate, so you won't be looking at your neighbours on their decks. There is a really good space between the lodges, unlike many similar sites. Everything is catered for, with little touches like a welcome pack with cloths and washing up liquid, tea, coffee etc. Towels are also provided. The WiFi is brilliant! The only negative we found was the sofas and bed were a little on the low side (but that's because we're getting on a bit). There is a cracking pub/restaurant next door and a garden centre. There was building work going on behind our lodge - looks like they're expanding. But it didn't really bother us as we were out most days. A lad came to check the temperature and chemical levels in the hot tub every day, which was emptied and refilled for each stay, so nice and clean. Lodge was immaculate. We would certainly stay here again.

Balbinny is a development of luxury self-catering accommodation, set on a family farm, allowing guests to make full use of the countryside. Built with corrugated roofs and recycled stone from the previous steadings, luxury is combined with a sense of history. Balbinny benefits from 180-degree views across the river South Esk towards the Angus Glens, and onto the Cairngorms.
Balbinny is fabulous, the second time we have stayed, this time in one of the Brochs, and we were even more impressed from the first time. A perfect week over Christmas to unwind, explore the countryside, and enjoy a breakaway. David was quick to assist with any requests or help, a great place to stay we highly recommend it.

We have just returned from a week's stay at Luxury Lodges. There were 11 of us split over two lodges, Vista and Meadow. The lodges were superbly clean, well furnished and equipped and cosy. I made use of the on site pond to do a spot of fishing (first time in ages) and caught a few. We made use of the free eggs from the hen house - they were delicious. We bought a couple of disposable BBQ's off Mandy (before the cold snap arrived) . The location is excellent. Quiet (apart from the owls, pheasants, buzzards and kites and woodpeckers!) the views locally, no in the surrounding area are stunning. We also made use of the hot tub in each lodge. The location is also great as a base for exploring the area more widely. We visited Hafren Forest, Powis Castle, Montgomery, Gilfach Nature Reserve, the stunning Lyn Clywedog and a very misty Aberystwyth - it was only Aber that was misty - the drive through the Plynlimon range was sunny and spectacular! We were lucky with the weather - sunny and warm for 4 days and then much colder but dry apart from one rainy afternoon. We even had a bit of snow. All in all, a fabulous holiday and we may well be back! Thanks Mandy & Colin

A family wedding party and what a fantastic house and location. Bedrooms superb, grounds superb, food to an exceptional standard and all guests served with such speed and skill. The whole experience was wonderful but above all I would state that this special day was made smooth and exceptional by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, a credit to their training and management. Thank you!
