Veeno is an Italian Wine Café based in the UK serving our family produced Sicilian wines & authentic Italian spuntini. All of our wines come from our award-winning family vineyard in Sicily where 3 generations of our family have produced wine. This allows
Ellie made our wine tasting very enjoyable, she was very knowledgable about the wines and gave us great insight into the different wines, the history of them and Veeno itself. This was definitely a day we will remember and would highly recommended Ellie and the whole team.

Amazing food and service from Casa Italia as per usual! Although there is often a long queue (which proves just how popular it is) the queue does move quick and once in the restaurant the service is speedy and second to none! Highly recommend the baked dishes such as Tortellini alla Panna or Tortellini Italiana Thank you

Maranto's is owned and run by the Maranto family, originally Italian-American, and a dedicated team. We have a love of food, wine, friends, and a knack for putting the three together. That's probably why Maranto's has been a Liverpool favourite for more t
I have walked past this place many times and it always appears busy so I assumed this long established restaurant must be getting something right. We visited on a Friday night, it was quite busy but this is a big place so there were plenty of tables available. The service was efficient and friendly. The menu is extensive, there is something for most tastes. For starters I had meatballs and my girlfriend had mushrooms. The meatballs were tasty, the mushrooms were bland. For our mains my girlfriend had chicken and broccoli pasta, I had an Italian burger. Again there was a lack of flavour, even a healthy dose of black pepper could not liven up the pasta. The burger was not high quality, it had the texture of a burger made with cheap meat and extended with cereal/soybean it was served with a portion of 'frozen' chunky chips. Although I ate it I was not inspired to be rushing back to try it again.I was disappointed with this place, it had the feeling of somewhere that could be special with just a little bit more effort but it falls just short of the mark.

Italian restauarant based on the busy and vibrant SMITHDOWN ROAD in South Liverpool, a couple of miles outside the city centre. A chilled out vibe together with exquisite culinary skills from the kitchen makes this a highly sought after location for food
Absolutely amazing night here celebrating our friendâs birthday. Made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived, gorgeous ambience and fab deals on the cocktails to get us started. Our waiter looked after us all through the night with complimentary birthday shots and a birthday cake for the birthday lady. The starters and mains were perfect (the nicest garlic bread and pasta Iâve had in a long time) and all at such a reasonable price. Look out for this hidden little independent gem on Smithdown, defo back soon. Thanks for a fab night Secret Place! X

Al Dente Restaurant has been serving to its guests for over 20 years in different locations. The last destination is Lark Lane where is the perfect destination of the Liverpool for the discerning diner. We are bringing together the great Mediterranean cui
We took my in-laws visiting to Lark Lane figuring we would just pick somewhere that looked good for a birthday dinner. Most places had long waits, so we ended up at Al Dente. This should have told us something, but we gave it a shot anyway. We sat waiting for our order to be taken for nearly 30 minutes, and more than an hour after we arrived for our food to be delivered. When it was, it wasnât good. We ordered 2 carbonaras and 2 meatball dishes. I had the carbonara, and it tasted like someone had thrown the most bland cream sauce on spaghetti with some out-of-the-bottle Italian seasoning. That is not what carbonara is supposed to taste like. My in-laws both had the meatballs, which they described as dry and bland hamburger balls. Will not be returning, I suggest you avoid.Hi, I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your evening with us. We constantly strive to give every customer the best possible experience therefore we will be having a internal review to improve our service and standards. I hope we can rectify this by seeing you again soon.Kind regards,

We have been to Bacaro before and it didnât disappoint on our return visit. They staff are very friendly and attentive, my wife has a dairy allergy and they were very prompt in producing their allergy menu. The food was delicious, particularly the Tuna Tartare and the goats cheese pearls.

Our stunning bar and Pesto Italian restaurant open seven days a week serves authentic Italian 'piattini', delicious small dishes that deliver big flavour, alongside some fantastic real ales and an extensive wine list.
Excellent parking and easy walk to the train station straight into Liverpool . Our room was spotless and comfy, and check in/out was simple. The best bit though was the onsite Italian Restaurant, wonderful food and the staff were all so helpful and friendly. Well done the whole team!
