The restaurant has the light, clean lines of a contemporary Orangery complemented by crisp, white table linen and the original stonework of the Chapelâs open fireplace. Celebrating the finest produce the Cotswolds has to offer, the team of skilled chefs c
This was traditional service in a Cotswold setting. The five courses were individually presented in a relaxed atmosphere. A taster menu only has small portions, but the portions themselves complemented each other and all tasted very good. At £30 per head with a glass of bubbly it was good value for the money.

The Shaven Crown , situated in the heart of the Cotswolds, re-opened September 2014 after extensive refurbishment. Our restaurant serves local ethically sourced produce and our seasonal menus revolve around the best possible ingredients we can get our han
Enjoyed our pre dinner drink in the atmospheric bar before a delicious meal in the restaurant.Only recently opened (new owners took over 3 months ago). Limited choice on menu but everything we tried was delicious. Stand out dish for me was the cauliflower with curry oil.Portions not that large but weâre fine for us.Some interesting wines available too.

Sheep on Sheep Street has a seasonal menu based around the woodfire oven which features in the centre of the restaurant. On the menu are gourmet southern Italian-style wood fire pizzas. The Sheep welcomes families with a bespoke children's menu available
This is certainly an easily missed restaurant, although it is situated at the main street and almost directly opposite the famous Porch House. The restaurant is modern, very clean, tidy and feels airy and bright. The reception was warm and friendly and the service staff was also freindly and helpful. The menu is mostly Italian fares. The food take some time to arrive but that is okay because when it came, they were simply marvellous. Not only the food presentations were beautifully done, they even taste so delicious.

I ordered the grilled lobster. There were only 2 things on the plate and they were both badly cooked. The tiniest half lobster was raw. The chips were a chocolate colour, black in places. How does a restaurant have trouble grilling a lobster and frying chips? Not a difficult task, in my opinion. But they got it very wrong!!!!!

A family-run, independent bar & kitchen serving twisted modern classics, great beer, real ales, hand-picked wines, and a delicious cocktail menu. Bitter & Twisted is the obvious choice in Chipping Norton for a vibrant and relaxed atmosphere, friendly and
The menu continued a nice selection reasonable priced food. There were also a number of specials. The food itself was well cooked and presented. The service was excellent. We had a very enjoyable meal and would definitely recommend Bitter and Twisted.

Very good restaurant in Oxfordshire. It serves a selection of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes, with gluten free options shown on the menu.
I can thoroughly recommend Whistlers for a great breakfast. Terrific staff and the most amazing Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon!

Phoned ahead to book when arriving in town and the call has yet to be answered. Got the last table in the place. Went two nights running and the food was excellent on both occasions. I do like a place that has a fixed-price menu with none of those expensive side-dishes that other places catch you with. The wine list has some really nice wines and they were reasonably priced again unlike other places where the shirt is taken off your back with this 'extra'. Liked it so much that I e-mailed them for information for a package. I still await an answer. Why do they bother with an e-mail address and a telephone number?Thank you taking the time to leave your review. Iâm pleased you enjoyed your visits to us and sorry that we have fallen down on responding to messages. We have just returned from a summer break so maybe your e mail was overlooked....As an owner managed business with family to juggle we are not always here to answer calls but should reply to all messages left either my e mail or phone. Kind Regards Sally

Nestled in the scenic and historic village of Nether Westcote, Oxfordshire in the heart of the Cotswolds, with panoramic views over the Evenlode valley. Restaurant, Bar, and Inn - The Feathered Nest Country Inn is the perfect venue for those special occas
My husband and I visited the inn during the bank holiday. From the moment we arrived to this stunning location, staff were more than helpful. We were shown to our spacious room and en-suite overlooking the gardens and beautiful views. We enjoyed a drink outside and then came inside to eat. The food was absolutely incredible. We chose to have the tuna and roe deer for starter and the lamb and duck for our main, we were not disappointed. To accompany our food we chose to have Coravin wines which our waiter (who has exceptional knowledge on wine) took the time to help pair with each course. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was also amazing (the homemade black pudding especially). Adam, the new owner, took time to introduce himself and talk to us during both days. We were advised on different places we could go for lunch and various walks we could enjoy. Will definitely be returning.

Recently returned from weekend stay at this lovely spot.Very relaxed and beautiful pub with roaring fires and great atmosphere.Drinks range excellent and food lovely. We felt there could have been a tad more choice or perhaps a special or two, as eating 2 days on the trot mean't choice was a little limited. We stayed in a cottage across the road and this was very comfortable indeed and a fire here made it very cosy.Expensive but a treat.
