Things to do in Framlingham
We visited Badingham Shop and Café as a family group of four adults and two children for coffee and cake during half term. What a fabulous little place! This is a apparently a community enterprise run by volunteers - and is arguably all the better for it. The rustic decor is attractively done, and it gives the café a very relaxed and homely feel. The staff were friendly and attentive without being at all overbearing. The locally sourced items for sale in the shop were very tempting, as were the various homemade cakes on offer; everyone in our party was certainly pleased with their choice of food and drink.Thoroughly recommend this little café - a real gem - weâll be back!

The Weavers Tearooms is part of the New Inn, a medieval hall-house, used as an Inn around the 15th century for travellers. Today Weavers continues the tradition of providing a welcome stop, offering a full range of excellent homemade fare. Breakfasts, mor
We stayed next door in the New Inn, and found ourselves popping in regularly for tea and cake, or scone. The cakes were of a very high standard and all that we tried were delicious. The cream tea was my favourite and my wife tried the Victoria sponge more than once. It was all very reasonably priced too.

Have been coming to Garnetts for some time now, but booked an afternoon tea recently with friends. It was wonderful, beautiful sandwiches, lovely scones and superb cakes, plus endless tea or coffee. The staff are extra friendly and we had doggie bags for our remaining food. The garden centre itself is very good and reasonably priced, sitting among the flowers in the summer is a delight. Also a great farm shop with meat, veg, bakery and excellent selection of unusual gifts and cards.

Juniper Barn is a Cafe and Village shop serving home-made and locally sourced food to locals and visitors to the area. The shop stocks store cupboard essentials and Suffolk foods, fresh fruit and vegetables, milk and bread.
We joined our daughter who was staying in the farm house for breakfast twice! and it was fabulous. Every village should have a cafe like this, friendly efficient service and great food. This cafe also houses the local shop and a gallery for local artists, as has been said before a little gem.

A lovely local sweetshop and milkshake bar serving local ice cream as well as drinks and refreshments. Old fashioned sweet shop selection, salt licorice, plus pic 'n' mix, gifts and Suffolk produced chocolates. Fantastic milkshakes, over 101 combinations!
One of the good ol' places with a variety of sweets, and a number of milkshake flavours. I tried the honeycomb milkshake, which was a bit of a disappointment, not sure if it was too little ice cream or just not whipped long enough. I would come back to give it another try though.Hello, thanks for youe review, - it's our first on Trip Advisor! Oh dear, - we want to think the milkshakes are awesome as many customers tell us they are. Are you local? Please come back and try one on us; if it's not right tell us there and then so we can perfect it!

Before writing this I read a review of February from someone who is attempting to be so awe full about the lemon tree. I was in the lemon tree on that day and found these people to be rude aggressive loud and positively rude and awkward. If it was my restaurant I would have told them to leave and go to Macdonalds. The food is incredible, a very reasonably priced. The service is amazing and the staff are wonderful. The place is so friendly and with a constly changing menu you can alwYs be sure of a stimulating meal.Everything is freshly prepared and with a French twist if you want it. You couldn't get a better place to visit.

Social cafe providing high quality food at affordable prices, in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Everything we serve is sourced as locally as possible, and is all prepared and cooked on the premises.
We enjoyed delicious kedgeree in this well-run, cozy restaurant in the centre of Framlingham. The restaurant is compact but has lots of character, thanks to the owner's extensive vintage vinyl collection and his great choice of music.
