The quaint Buckinghamshire town of Amersham plays host to the excellent ASK Italian restaurant, situated in a charming building along the cobbled streets of the town centre. This ASK Italian restaurant has recently gone through an extensive refurbishment.
First time visit to ASK in Amersham. Parking along the road and a car park to the rear. Few waiters/waitresses to serve on this busy Friday evening. No vouchers can be used on Fri-Sun inclusive. 3had pizzas which looked fabulous but apparently needed more toppings as dry. 2 of us had pasta with 3 king prawns and a crayfish and the pasta needed more cooking but the salads were lovely. Starters to share were tasty - we bought 2 starters to share for 6 of us and in hind-site there was not enough. Deserts delicious. Some of the group used the bathroom facilities and said they were dirty and needed renovating but I did not need to visit. At no time during the meal were we asked if everything was ok otherwise it would have been mentioned then. This is good customer service. I would try ASK again in a different restaurant to compare.

Honestly awful. They have no idea what they're doing with allergens, which means they're taking a huge risk in making people ill.The manager admitted to me that neither the food on the Vegan Menu or Gluten free menu was entirely Vegan or Gluten free due to contamination, so when I asked him why on earth they were advertising them as that, he first said it was for people that were "Vegans for the fun of it" and then said "Gluten free for the fun of it". I quickly reminded him that there is nothing "fun" about being Gluten Free.. specially as most people are gluten free due to Celiac Disease or an intolerance. As someone who is also intolerant to egg and dairy, I was excited to find out that this restaurant had both a gluten free and vegan menu, however the fact they take neither of these issues seriously is absolutely disgusting and I would urge anyone who is a sufferer of those not to visit the restaurant. On a more positive note, I was aware that the manager was trying to do his best to help us, and of course did not write the menu himself, or have control over it, but more needs to be put in place to prevent an awful allergen incident happening.

Another delicious lunch today and beautifully looked after by Monika and her team. very tasty starters of fresh and crispy whitebait and perfectly cooked artichoke hearts followed by wafer thin calves liver cooked in sage for me which melted in the mouth accompanied by crispy battered zucchini crisps , saute potatoes and fresh green beans. My friends loved their fresh fish and delicately flavoured pasta dishes. Highly recommended and excellent value for money .

Zaza restaurant in the heart of Rickmansworth has a charming location in a listed building in Church Street. The exposed brick and ancient beams combine beautifully with the stylish cream walls, modern art works, fresh flowers, dark wood tables and seatin
Zaza in Rickmansworth has a pleasant ambience and as the dining area is spread over 3 floors feels cosy and intimate. The service was efficient and attentive during a quiet Monday lunchtime and the food tasty and nicely presented. I did feel that the meals were rather overpriced in spite of a lunchtime offer. By the time drinks and service were added the cost tends to creep up.

Had a wonderful supper with my family. Staff are always friendly & efficient & looked after us well. Food was delicious, we all had either pizza or pasta and it didnât disappoint. The restaurant has a loud buzz and is great for a lively evening.
