ASK Italian in High Wycombe is a place for great food and warm service. Think fresh bread made to tear and share. A glass of fine wine worth deserving of your time. Delicious main dishes prepared the traditional way. Everything we know and love about Ital
Added another ASK to our list - this is Tardis like with a small frontage but huge interior - friendly prompt service - ordered our favourite prawn starter, but they only had one portion, so we had to share - otherwise great food and reasonable prices

At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We donât do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. Weâre all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food. The restaurant, located on the high street
Visited Zizzi in Marlow for dinner recently as I was staying nearby. Friendly welcome and shown to a table at the front of the restaurant which was quiet at the time. Ordered a glass of wine and the Spiedini Pollo. Food was served quickly and the presentation was good. I thought the dish was okay, it wasnât exceptional and I thought the chicken might have had a bit more spice heat to it because of the harissa. Potatoes were warm as opposed to hot. Overall not bad but could have been slightly better in my opinion.

The Jolly Farmer is a historic pub located in the beautiful countryside of Cookham Dean, just opposite Saint John the Baptist Church. It's a proper pub with great food, local beers & excellent wines. We also have a large playground and dogs are welcome.
It was a Friday lunchtime at 13.15. A lovely warm day, people in the garden, children playing...... We go to the bar to order drinks and food, having selected an outside table (as it stated when we entered), a long queue, only one poor girl serving......... {a pub bought by the locals for the locals, it says on the door}. When it gets to our turn, oh sorry the chef is not taking any more orders for food...... one long queue getting even longer, so no food at lunchtime... have a drink and go. Not ideal and what a pity that there is no stafff to serve and no staff to cook. The menu looked over ambitious with no opportunity to get a quick snack... so never again, especially as there are many other places locally... get your act together!!

Please note that the restaurant is closed from 14:30-18:00 Monday to Saturday as we operate on a split shift. At Bianco Nero we are committed to offering a family run restaurant with traditional home cooked Italian food and providing our customers with a

I have visited this restaurant on three occasions now in the past few weeks and I have been very impressed each time. Iâve had breakfast twice and dinner once. The welcome is always very friendly and the service is very quick and polite. Food quality and presentation is very good too, Iâve really enjoyed all the food I have eaten here. Great menu offering lots of choice and options. Very popular place and always lots of people in.

We have been here a number of times now mainly due to the fact, the food is always at a very good quality and the service impeccable. We are always made to feel very welcome and the kids given extra attention. If you are in the area it is definitely worth a visit, we highly recommend!

We wanted to try the pizza as we had heard it was the best in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful and the menu looks good. Pizzas were great in terms of authenticity...thin, fresh dough, fresh ingredients and piping hot from thetraditional pizza oven. I must admit I was a bit disappointed that the Quattro Stagione was not in four separate sections as I have always had it before (including in Italy). I couldn't understand why all the ingredients were mixed and spread evenly across the pizza. Other than that, a very enjoyable meal.
