Once again the fat boar delivers great food at a reasonable price with a lovely bottle of Malbec - those sticky sausages to die for and the chicken bacon and leek pie amazing The only negative about the great evening was at around 7.50 a DJ played music at a decibel level that was not enjoyed by any of the 4 of us at the table - be better and advised to play from 9.00pmOtherwise spot on

Food and service outstanding and an enjoyable meal from start to finish. The canapés, snack and brioche were all lovely. Quail and mackerel starters lovely as were the poached halibut and suckling pig mains. Petit fours and coffee delicious end to the meal. I dont know what has gone wrong here but the food has really deterioriated. Had the seafood pasta but wasnt told that flavour was not included. It was totally tasteless. Also the sea bass dish was very poor. It seems that the poor fish had been in a fight - and lost. It was ridicously small. Service as good as ever. Sadly, will be giving it a miss and hope that whatever has gone wrong improves.Hi Derek,Thank you so much for taking the time to give feedback following your visit to Gusto Heswall on 16th October. It is our aim to ensure that all our guests leave our restaurant having enjoyed their visit but unfortunately on this occasion we did not achieve this. I have spoken with my team and we have taken all of your comments on board and will use this to improve all areas of our guest experience. If there is anything further I can help with please don't hesitate to get in touch. Thank you,Gusto Heswall

Came here for the tasting menu with wine pairing. Really elegant simple design inside. Menu was amazing. Each course was wonderful. Particularly enjoyed the steamed plaice and quail. Wines were really well paired.I really liked the interaction from the staff - really great to hear about the wines and why they had chosen them and also what went into each dish. It was really impressive especially as they were all young - great to see young professionals doing well. We will be back!

Every time we visit Y Celstryn training restaurant, Coleg Cambria, Deeside (Kelsterston College as was) we seem to say âthat was the best meal yetâ. This place just keeps on excelling itself. Todayâs meal was unbelievably good. The starters were delightful and very well presented; the main course was out of this world - so delicious, the flavours were superb; and the desert was beautifully presented and extremely tasty. The restaurant itself is modern and spacious and the students (and supervisors) pay every attention to detail. The kitchen is divided from the restaurant by a glass wall so itâs great to watch the kitchen team at work. The lunchtime menu is a wonderful 3 course meal and thereâs always plenty of choice, plus thereâs a licensed bar. Our special thanks to Matt, our waiter today for a seamless service.

Have been meaning to visit this restaurant for some time having read the largely favourable reviews. We were not disappointed. starters of scallops and watercress soup were delicious as were the main courses of chicken and burger. A suitably varied menu and interesting wine list.Service was friendly and efficient and overall it was good value for the cost.Well worth a visit.

This stylish restaurant has been attracting diners from Merseyside and beyond since 2002. The minimalist dcor, with cream leather seats, dark wood flooring and red banquettes is guaranteed to impress, and it is the perfect place for dates, special occas
Visited here with friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The choices were wonderful and the food beautifully presented and totally delicious. I highly recommend the potted shrimp starter and the flavoursome smoked haddock main course. I look forward to returning to 107 Dining Room in the near future.

SILK RD Restaurant is a concept that brings to life the food, drinks and soul that can be found along the ancient routes that run from the Pacific of East China, through to the Mediterranean sea. To all the customers that visit our restaurant, we hope you
We popped in for a late lunch (prefer this to the evenings as its quieter). We enjoyed some of our usual favourites (spring rolls, Apizuna steak and pork belly) as well as trying something different (the Turkish meatballs). For the two of us, the portion sizes are just right (we have 4-5 dishes for lunch or 6 dishes plus a pudding for dinner), and the garnishes bring a good balance. We absolutely love the Portillo Malbec â smooth, really more-ish and good value (especially if you take advantage of one of their offers). Whilst on this occasion we really missed the cheery welcome from Fern, we were well looked after by Ada. We are real foodies and normally save our 5-star rating for really exceptional (Michelin standard) fine dining which this does not pretend to be but, given the consistently high quality of service and value, plus the great vibe, we felt that we needed to up our rating. Highly recommend.Hello top-trippers,Thank you once again for leaving such an amazing review and upping us to 5*! We are so glad that you have seen high standards of food quality and service on each of the occasions that you have visited and we love seeing both of you.Make sure you keep an eye out for some up and coming specials that we will have on our menu we would love for you to try them especially the meat ones, our new tandoori steak will be a hit with you if you enjoy the Azpizuna. Sorry i missed you last time but i can't wait to see you both again.Kind regards,Fern Prescott
