Ordered biriyani and after 1.5 hours it finally arrived with beef that looked liked it was cooked weeks ago and an egg that would do well on a bush tucker trial....ROTTEN.I've had a lot of meals from this place and they are always very hit and miss...this time it was utter crap. I would complain to them but they really don't give a damn.Up to you if you want to take risk

Only found out about this chippy after seeing a post on Facebook and glad I went. We have returned since and thoroughly enjoyed what we have brought home so top stuff!I have two gripes albeit minor and they are when photos are posted on Facebook of your food, they are not doing it justice and to be fair some look off-putting so either ditch the photos or make some effort into making your food look appealing.Secondly you announce you have lunchtime and teatime specials but it'd be nice to know earlier in the day rather than minutes before lunch or tea when you announce it.These things said, we will be revisiting again soon so thanks for lovely fish and chips!

This used to be a decent chippy, sadly not so anymore. Recently went with daughter, fish in breadcrumbs was over cooked, chips undercooked and what is it with the bitter tasting illuminous mushy peas, gross! I really loved proper mushy peas but for the first time in my life I had to bin them, I don't know what was added to make them bitter with such an unnatural colour. A fish and chip shop that cannot cook fish or chips, go figure!

I use the Balti Spice two to three times a month, Always had excellent food, freshly prepared by very friendly and capable staff. I also enjoy the complimentary Coffee and Cream served while you are waiting for your order. The portion sizes are large and quite often one order is quite enough for my wife and I.

I've heard about this place from other persons. Quaint little Chip Shop, but big in portions, quality and service. Called at busy lunch period, but the efficiency by staff would equal any high end establishment. It's only a takeaway, but the food is fantastic.

Whatâs happened!!!!Our last few visits have been...awful, I think this was the last time we will be calling.Crispy Duck - not crispy and was like rubber, inedible, could not be shredded and ended up in the bin.Prawns on toast - dry and tasteless, thrownShredded chicken - appalling, chewy, over cooked and reheated. Shu mai - tasteless frozen, 2 eaten, 2 binnedSeaweed - not crispy and tasteless, thrown.Chicken wings - thumbs up, ok.Sorry to end our long standing relationship but your food standards have dropped dramatically over the last 12 months. Iâm sure if you continue to serve food in this manner you will lose more customers other than ourselves.

My wife and I donât have massive appetites and we find one portion of fish and small chips more than enough for the two of us and struggle to even finish a small portion of chips. This makes the meal very good value. There is a wide choice of other food available and is usually quite fresh.
