Visited this little gem of a place last night for a meal and âWowâ it really was a delight. Authentic Turkish/Greek foods to enjoy, and the smells and atmosphere just take you back to the islands themselves....fabulous.Such a lovely welcome on arrival even though we were running late and pints of âEffesâ brought swiftly to our table.The menu is vast which so many gorgeous dishes to choose and with the lovely kitchen staff and chefs cooking immediately in front of you itâs just wonderful. Sauces, olives and breads are brought whilst perusing the menu which is a lovely touch, starters were huge portions, calamari and deep fried courgettes being ordered which were beautiful. The main meals were vast and all served with rice and salad. We never thought we would have room for deserts but found a small part of a full stomach and had Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts and chocolate gateaux which were so good!!The place itself is within The Compton Acres Shopping Centre but. With a car park outside of the restaurant and a busy pub close by what more could you want?The restaurant is a busy little taverna with delightful food and a âMustâ to visit.We loved the evening and will definitely return.

Absolutely love this place!! Been a couple of times and the food has been outstanding. Simple, beautifully cooked, Good honest Italian food. It reminded me of home cooked food, lovingly and skillfully prepared and plated.The venue is tiny intimate space in a quirky setting (a former butchers shop)The staff are outstanding! Nothing too much trouble and you feel your custom really means something to them, they are grateful and treat you well- only making me want to go more.I have nothing but praise for this place. The Best Italian food in Nottingham bar none in my opinion. Iâll definitely be back soon.

I'm genuine perplexed at the good reviews for this restaurant. The food was pretty poor - especially the risotto, which wasn't even made with a risotto rice (such as arborio or carnaroli) but with basmati! So my risotto piscatore was more like a seafood biriani but without the spice! The waiter was ridiculously sexist, insisting on swapping napkins around so me and my daughter had pink ones, and making silly sexist jokes that should have been left in the 70s. There are MUCH better restaurants in Beeston, including a much better Italian (I'oliva). Very unfair but I hope you never come to our establishment as I would refuse to serve you, You made couple of mistakes which shows that you are not genuine reviewer as 1/we are not Italian 2/ you are advertising another establishment In further go to them and donât bother us or our genuine customers with these comments ..Hope not to see you ever, you do not deserve these old fashioned 70s style of service!!!!The sexiest waiter !!!You donât know the difference between a waiter and restaurateur......shameful

The food was amazing, well presented and delicious. We ordered 2/3 dishes each with some extra sides and we all shared and tried each other's meals. There was more than enough food and we all left satisfied and happy. The staff were also extremely friendly and happy. Would absolutely recommend this place and already have done!

We visited the restaurant for a friends birthday and had a great time. It was the first time we had had been here since it changed and we were not disappointed. The place has a good atmosphere. The bar area is a good size but they do also have a gin bar. The menu is extensive offering a good selection of tapas dishes. The food was excellent. The staff are friendly and the service was great. We will definitely be back soon.

How refreshing to be greeted and served by real Italians in an Italian restaurant. Very good value and great flexibility of mixing pasta and sauce (i.e. you can pick and mix!). Food arrived promptly and was delicious. We all enjoyed our lunches and the lively and friendly service. Very contemporary and bright deco so possibly not best for a very quiet/ intimate dinner for two, but if you want a great Italian then look no further.
