We came here on a recommendation as you can park right outside. Quick service, reasonable prices and the best fish and chips we've had in quite a while. Lovely big chunks of cod, and chips done just right (not too crispy, not too soggy!). The long queue that formed as we left suggests that are popular, and for good reason.

A Traditional Fish and Chip Shop Takeaway and Licenced Restaurant. We're Passionate about Quality Fish and Chips Our Fish is cooked in Our Amazing Secret Recipe Crispy Beer Batter which is Truly Delicious.
Very disappointing. VERY overrated in my opinion. I specifically asked and paid for a âlarge chips.âWhen they were all wrapped and ready to go, the woman said. âWas it large or mediumâ you wanted.I said âlarge.â She just nodded. When we got them home guess what??Either they were âmediumâ or they were the smallest âlargeâ I have ever seen.Hence one star. And they were soggy.

Fish & Chip Shop
Not long after we arrived in Conwy, we were getting peckish for fish and chips. Luckily, these guys were still open and we got also sit down next door in their restaurant part. Not many people in there, given it was a Friday night but that's when most people probably have their take away. We opted both for the large portion which was what it said. Plus, the greedy one among us had to have a battered sausage on top! Food was delicious and the service very friendly. Thin batter and chips also very nice, plus mushy peas - it ticked all the boxes for us. Shame we live so far away as I wouldn't mind popping back.

We are a family run business established back in 1983. We pride ourselves in serving only sustainably sourced fish, which we prefer to cook to order.
Overall we have been visiting the Fisherman's for years, but this was our first visit in over a 12 months and it's great to see that they are still serving really good fish and chips.Today's visit saw the Fisherman's less busy than previous visits, but understandable as it is October and not all schools are off at the moment so Conwy as a whole wasn't too busy. This did though work to our advantage as we had a choice of tables in the upstairs dining room, so chose one at the window. The quietness also meant that we were served quickly with large portions of traditional fish, chips, mushy peas and pot of tea for the adults, whilst the children went for pies and chicken burgers. There was a side order of onion rings, extra bread and butter, and drinks so our total bill was £49, but more than worth it. That's it for our visits to Conwy for another year, but we will be back in 2020 and no doubt that will mean another visit to the Fisherman's at some point.

This chippy offers table service & it's well worth it. Service was prompt and friendly, There's a great choice on the menu, not just the usual fish in batter. We chose a sharing platter (- fish each and a decent portion of chips between us) and a really good cuppa. The hake was really tasty and moist. Well worth diverting off the A55 for a meal!
